Siphocypraea trippeana Parodiz, 1988

Statigraphy:  Pinecrest Sand Member of the Tamiami Formation

Location:  APAC, Sarasota County, Florida USA.

Status: Extinct

 

Notes:  Typically, shell is small and narrow with a high dorsum.  The sulcus has a slight bend more so than the S. carolinensis complex, described as a keyhole appearance and a narrow aperture like S. problematica.
