This is a 10 cm long Hybodus fin spine from a triassic "Bonebed" in a quarry in southern germany (Baden-Württemberg).

Here is the unprepped condition:

The prep work took about 4 hours.

The separation layer between the stone and the fossil was actually quite good but the hardness of the stone is a problem for me.
