This is a 11 cm long pterosaur bone (maybe a flight phalanx) from the lower Jurassic from the quarry Kromer near Holzmaden. It was a very luck find as I found it on a stone, which I took with me because of another fossil. So I am very happy with this find although the preservation is not the best....

Thanks Vieira!

It will not win any beauty competitions but I am very happy with it :D Hopefully I can find many more pterosaur bones there!

Amazing find, Sebastian! As someone who's still to make his first vertebrate find at Holzmaden/Kromer, this is the dream! :default_clap2:
