Location: Quality Aggregates, Sarasota County, Florida USA.
Status: Extant
Notes: The Florida rock shell is highly variable with or without shoulder knobs. A molecular study is needed to identify relationship of Eastern Florida, Western Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean populations.
