Multiple Pecopteris Ferns

Samurai

When this came out of the earth I was shocked by how many were bundled together as I mostly find only fragmentary pieces of one specimen.

The small limestone chunk on the left is a piece that came undone at the site I found this fossil at.

Looks more like Alethopteris or Pecopteris,  to me.

You'd have to get a good look at the veins and bases of the pinnules to make a determination.  ;)

It is a nice find!
