Fasciolaria monocingulata (Dall, 1890) 
Stratigraphy: Golden Gate Member of the Tamiami Formation

Location:  Bonita Grande, Lee County, Florida USA.

Status: Extinct

 

Notes:  Similar to the recent Caribbean Cinctura lillum, but with a prominent incised line under the suture.  Mostly found in the Caloosahatchee Formation, but a few records exist in the Tamiami, mostly in the carbonate beds south of Sarasota.
