the "Floating Crinoidd", Comaturella pinnata GOLDFUSS 1886. In the slab limestones you can find many free-swimming crinoids, Saccocoma pectinata. These are small and cover entire strata. Rare are other crinoids, such as this beautiful comatulid "Comaturella pinnata" with a height of over 13 cm. Comaturella lived suspended in the water column and could actively change direction.
