Wow, very nice iguana - but what happened to the tail? Could they drop the tail or was it lost during after death?

Iguana can’t drop the tail like lizards can do - but it seemed to be quite normal for Geiseltaliellus. Almost half of the specimens found had part of the tail missing (and didn't show any sign of disarticulation).
