hi oilshale I think it is a spectacular specimen of cerambicidae(long horn bettle) but is impossible to determinate whitout a macro picture

Bubonius was so kind and nailed down this little critter:

"Analyzing the paleo environment and therefore contemporary flora and fauna (seen photographs from the gallery) we think that 90% 's is an insect belonging to the family of cerambycide: AGAPANTHINAE,

is a female specimen :should be an Agapanthia, course many species was be extinct today but in a morphological comparison with those living now, this looks like a copy of female "Agapanthia irrorata" or A.violacea

I write with certainty in the tag "Agapanthia SP." perhaps (see) irrorata! "
