Hi everyone. First time posting. My son who is 7 found this on a beach. Assumed its some sort of fossil. Can someone please identify if possible please? Found on a beach in South Devon during summer.

We found this in southern Oregon. Our first idea was that it was just an interesting, normal beach rock. Looking more closely at it, it appears to be bony. We’re wondering if it might be a vertebra, and if so from what type of animal? It’s approximately 3” x 4” x 1.5” (images show cm ). Also, we’d gladly take recommendations on reference resources we can use to help us narrow down IDs on our own. (But we definitely appreciate the input!) Thanks

I' m a local photographer in Flagler Beach, FL. I frequent a local beach almost daily. I have come across quite an interesting find. Currently due to stormy weather causing rough waves and some higher than normal tides the rocks have been sliding down into the ocean and breaking apart. Well a wonderful treasure was exposed in one of the rocks. A skull. There is also a tooth and what looks to be bone vertebrate. I am in the process of excavating currently but would love to know who this skull belongs to. Any help is appreciated!!

Another beach fossil find. I’m not to sure but thought it might be a worn hoof core. Maybe camelid? I defer to the forum experts. As usual any help is greatly appreciated.

I found what looked to be a talon/claw or a beak on a lake Erie beach (Ohio side). Based on the fact that most of my fossils are aquatic in nature, I'm starting to lean towards a lower squid beak. Thoughts? The first pic is of the bottom view, then next two are variations of the side view and the last is the top view of it. I'm also open to suggestions on how to free it from its surroundings.

Hi All Fairly new to this. I went fossil hunting with my boy on a beach known for carboniferous fossils. We found a ton of brachiopod specimens but also found this. It may be another brachiopod specimen as there is also a brach mold fossil on the other side. But wondered if it might be something different? If its even a fossil at all.

Hi, new to this forum and looking for an expert eye, my parents have a rockery and as we live near the beach the majority of rocks are from the beach. One rock caught my eye and it seems to have fossil type feel, it looks like a Dinosaur claw/foot. Now it's either a fossil or I have been watching too many movies!! Any feedback will be appreciated. Thankyou

I found several dozen fossils like the one below on Debordieu Beach (~20mi south of Myrtle Beach, SC): can anyone help to identify? They are black, wafer-thin discs, roughly 1 in (2.5cm) in diameter, with a ripples-in-water pattern of concentric circles. Any help with an ID would be most appreciated--thank you!

Hi! I’m new to TFF and I’m hoping to identify an object I found on the beach in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. It’s roughly 2.5 cm wide, 1.9 cm high, .64 cm thick and weighs very little. I apologize for the estimates, as we’re on vacation and don’t have access to accurate measuring instruments. Thanks in advance for taking a look!

Was wondering if someone could help me correctly identify this fossil. This was found on a beach in Destin, FL this summer and appears to be maybe an eel or serpent like creature, it measures ~2 5/8" long and ~1" wide and tried to picture best I could. Any help would be appreciated and can send more pictures but could only post one due to size constraints. Thank you very much for your time!

I found this fossil rolling around in the surf on Assateague Island in May of 1994. I thought it looked like a mantis shrimp but It's never been confirmed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

I found this the other day, along the Galway coast line. Im not sure if its a proper fossil or (if it is) what it is. Any help would be much welcome.Its the larger rock, the Fossil is curving.
