I found these about 35 years ago when i was kid in a cave near frenchburg kentucky, one kinda looks like a acorn the other im not sure, its smooth on one side and bumpy on inside, it has a thin dark layer and a thicker light brown layer, its slighty curved and it has weight to it and it solid

This was found on Myrtle Beach SC between 73rd and 50th ave. Super cool whatever it is. It has to be some type of dental fossil right? It is the size of a 50 cent piece.

Any thoughts on this bone, 17.8mm long. From the Halgaito formation (lower Permian) of SE Utah?

Kem kem bones, supposedly Spinosaur Hello all, i recently got two bones that come from Morrocco, kem kem formation, suposedly belonging to a Spinosaur. They seem quite peculiar and could actually come from anything. Attached are some photo’s, does anyone have an idea what it could be?

The pictures are bad, besides it is an opal, which was probably photographed wet. However, maybe you would be able to suggest something by its shape? It is from Lightning Ridge, Australia. Thanks!

My son found this at a beach after a big storm in Santa Cruz, California. It was mixed in with a bunch of wood and hard to spot. I think this is a possible bone hoe artifact because of the even rounded edges at the end of the scapula??? Also..one side is "polished" (not the side shown in the pics). Seems too small for a bison but too big for an elk based on what I researched but I know nothing about animal bones. It's about 12 inches long and 6 inches across. Seems like this is a common fossil/artifact in the Midwest USA, but I did not see this as a common tool used by indigenous people on the US West Coast. Any assistance would be much appreciated. If this is something of a rarity for the Central West Coast, or it is a significant artifact due to how complete or undamaged it is, we plan on handing it over to the museum of natural history in Santa Cruz. Hello - This is my first post here. When I first saw this, I immediately thought it might be a tooth or some sort but dismissed it as a rock once it dried. I took a closer look the other day and noticed it did have spongy bone like texture at the ridges, and under magnification I noticed more bone like characteristics. I can't find anything like this shape anywhere. None of the teeth I've seen have roots like this, and there aren't any claws that have such a big bulbous end. Although it looks like a tooth, I don't see any straight lines/enamel like textures. This was found at a beach in Santa Cruz, Ca. This measures 4" long x 3" wide and 2" thick. It is very symmetrical. The pics represent this fossil both wet and dry to see various details. Any assistance is very much appreciated. THANK YOU!

I found this concretion with something inside, looks like half of a nodule with something bone alike. Found it while sifting for Miocene shark teeth in a clay quarry in the Antwerp region in Belgium. I think the gravel i'm sifting is Pleistocene with reworked Miocene as i've found pieces of Mammoth bark in it as well. This piece leaves me clueless tho.. The concretion measures 9cm x 5cm sorry about the poor quality pics, that's the best i can get out of my smartphone... Thx!

Recently found this quite large and heavy (piece of) bone by the Schelde river shores in Antwerp, Belgium. Most pieces that wash up here are Mio/Pliocene but actually most Neogene layers are represented in the area as well as Pleistocene and more recent. I'm thinking whale because of the size, but honestly i don't have a clue. Measurements are 22cm x 10cm x 5cm thanks in advance! Dries

Hi, I found this in Barstow, CA, south of Rainbow Basin, in a wash, on private land. I have been told this is fossilized palm root and also a bone fossil. I'm hoping with the attached images, someone can confirm which one it is. I am relatively confident this is not, simply, a rock. This is heavier than any rock of similar size, sticks to my tongue a bit on the open side. Under UV light, the piece fluoresces orange and a deeper orange/red. Thank you!!

Found this digging in the sand at rollover pass texas. It's very heavy and I have never seen anything like it. I have found wild hog, camel and horse bones but this doesn't look anything like them. I used Google lens and it wasn't much help. Can anyone help?

Would love to gain some insight on these bones I recently found on an exposed river bank (east Texas) after a few weeks of heavy rain. Note: Vertebrae specimen measures approx 3x3.5 inches. Also wondering how ya'll differentiate between fossilized bone and modern bone specimens? Can modern bones change in appearance/feel and be confused with fossilized bone due to exposure to various elements? Thank you!
