guys, I recently browsed through some Carcharodontosaurus saharicus teeth online and found a situation that I didn't quite understand. Their teeth are often described as like daggers, very thin and very sharp. and why can we still see some teeth marked as Carcharodontosaurus saharicus teeth, they are thicker, and they look a bit like tyrannosaurids from the anterior serration view. Why are their teeth different in morphology? Does it depend on different tooth positions?

Hi guys, I’ve just been saved from a fake spino claw thanks to this site 🙏🏼 however I was wondering if teeth which have the enamel on and aerated edges are possible to fake? I actually believe the seller has bought from Morocco and been scammed himself with the claw but perhaps not the tooth?- 7 replies

Is my carcharodontosaurus tooth authentic?
Snailtopus posted a topic in Is It Real? How to Recognize Fossil Fabrications
Hi, I purchased this carcharodontosaurus tooth a few months ago. It seemed legitimate, but my knowledge at the time was especially limited. I'd really like to get a second (third, fourth, etc...) opinion on it. I've attached some photos. I can try to get clearer ones if it helps. Thanks in advance.- 2 replies

Kurufossils posted a topic in Is It Real? How to Recognize Fossil Fabrications
Hi everyone, I was recently offered this Giganotosaurus tooth. I was wondering if there was a way to distinguish it from carcharodontosaurus teeth from the kem kem beds? Or if anyone can share there opinion on this one, thank you.- 11 replies

From the album: Dinosaur Teeth
I've acquired a few more large Carchcarodontosaurus teeth since I last posted a "handful picture". These four teeth all have an outer curvature length of at least 5 inches. The one on the left measures 5.50 inches and all of the other three measure 5.0 inches. I just love these large theropod teeth! -

This is my current collection of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus teeth. I have played around with different display options and personally like the Rikker boxes and want to create a upper and lower jaw-like arrangement. The age of this dinosaur teeth are Mid Cretaceous epoch, Albian stage (96 million years ago). There were all found south of Taouz, K'Sar-es-Souk province, Kem-Kem basin region of Morocco and range from 3.4 inches to 5.5 inches along the outer curvature. -
