Genuine Hadrosaur egg?

This is supposed to be a Hadrosaur egg from China, from an older collection. I'd appreciate any input. From the images I've seen its not obvious, but more convincing than some fakes I've seen. Hadrosaur egg -- Chinese

Hello, Any thoughts on this? It is a Hadrosaur egg from Guangdong, China. 9.4cm x 8.8 x 6. I know it's far from the best egg you'll see--but I was offered it for a good price, less than even I've seen poor conditioned eggs go for) . But does anyone see any restoration/composite to it? Now, I wish to check--the grey is eggshell, still partially covered by matrix? Or is the grey bits, which I am thinking is ill-cleaned eggshell, actually not eggshell either? I'm considering it for a piece for my desk at work here in Taipei--got my eye on a better possible egg to ship to my collection in England. Thanks for the help

What is this egg fossil?

So I was on an auction website and an egg caught my eye it was stated it was 1 million to 2.58 million years old. It was also stated that this egg was found with other eggs in the nest, and they were selling the other eggs separately. I did research on it- the name on the website as a Madagascar Abrupt Giant Tortoise - egg - Aldabrachelys abrupta. When I searched for it the shell of the presumed fossil popped up and that's about it no art work no skulls no other fossils just the shell, so I thought you guys might know.

Hi there, I'm looking at possibly buying another saurpod egg. The seller identified it as a hypselosaurus priscus egg, Provence basin france. From the last post I did not on eggs I understand eggs are specifically attributed to hypselosaurus anymore? I'm looking for a museum quality piece as my other egg examples are just decent. Please give me your thoughts and let me know if you require more photos Thank you!

I found this encased in limestone at a dig site in Wisconsin, USA. Its composition seems unusual for anything else at that dig site. It was deep inside limestone and most of the limestone easily pulled off with little effort. Is this an egg? It measures approximately 6.35cm x 4.5cm

Found this morel hunting in an area that floods and with the lack of rain in Minnesota I was able to access this area. I was thinking it is some kind of petrified egg? It was in central Minnesota. It is heavy as a rock and as hard as one. I am sorry for the pictures, I will post more detailed pictures as soon as I have access to a camera. For now though the only thing I can say is my ring is exactly 1" in diameter. Thanks everybody

Found this fairly deep about 20 - 30 feet in the ground well in thick clay. Other interesting pieces found but this, to me, was interesting as it seems to have been cracked open at the top and its shape. Found in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana.

Found these in the woods in st. Clair County Alabama. they were in a coal deposit I dug up. very small deposit. filled a five gallon bucket with coal. they vary in size. I hope they are eggs. some have fragments of shell on them and some do not. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone! I posted this on a Facebook group and had some great responses. My question is, I recently purchased a segnosaur egg from a reputable dealer who has been selling Dino fossils for a long time now. I have read how some Dino eggs might be fake, and I figured I’d just ask the question and get your professional opinions. Because of the reputation of the dealer, I do believe it’s authentic. It’s not like I bought it off of online from a random person, but I still wanted to ask the question. What do you think? I appreciate your feedback. IMG_9607.MOV

Hello, I've been after an egg for a while, and this one caught my eye. It's sold as Spheroolithus. 5.5 inch x 4.41 x 2.36 Seller messaged saying it is from Henan Province, China. Being sold by a Taiwan seller--not from China itself. Apologies for red line--it's blocking the sellers name. Thanks for the help

My father in law found this while poking around on our land were clearing in Wimberley, TX. I’m blown away by it, it’s so perfect I am perplexed. Is this real? After having discovered more than a few "dinosaur eggs" throughout my life, this is the first that has prompted me to overcome my cynicism and ask for help in identification. I am assuming that it is very possibly a nodule of some sort - but looking at the details has me curious. Thanks in advance for your patience with my limited knowledge. I found it in a ravine near my house in Pittsburgh, PA, USA that has exposed layers of coal, shale, slate, and sandstone. I found it "as-is" and I have not removed any material. It is approximately 8.5cms x 5 cms. There appear to be at least 3 "layers" on it. There is a picture from a terminal end that clearly shows them. The outer one is fairly thick (2-3mm), the subsequent layer is much thinner (~0.5mm), and the inner one appears to be about 1mm. Photos were taken with natural light. The "bottom" shows a bit more of the interior, which appears to be darker and uneven. The "top" is mostly smooth, comprised of the "inner" layer with hairline cracks. If I can provide additional information, photos, or videos, just let me know of what part, and I will do my best to provide them. Much thanks! Kind regards.

I can't remember exactly where or when I acquired this , but I think I found in second hand store a few years back. Thought it was petrified wood but found images of eggs and thought maybe, it's not wood after all. Me and my rock hunting buddies would really like to know.

Hello I'm interested in any insight as to what this may be. It was found today March 2021 in my back yard heavily wooded area while I was clearing a trail to ride small ATVs I raked through a ft of overburden and sticks etc revealing the dirt below and found half dozen stone edges protruding through the surface. In an effort to make the trail smooth I began to extract the stones using a spade type shovel after having dug out the stones I picked each one up to throw off the trail and when I grabbed this I realized it was not the same weight actually near weightless and hollow slight rattling noise coming from inside but clearly hollow. At first I thought it was a science project made from fiberglass but it appears to only have fiberous stringy stuff inside the shell portion the outer shell like layer is solid in texture and resembling ceramic look or guess thick egg shell I've only experience with bacon and egg eggs but it kinda does look like shell more than anything else I can think of. It was found in Stokes Bay Ontario Canada Lake Huron side but my place is inland few km not shoreline. It's about midway up the Bruce Peninsula. It was a maximum of ft below surface damp mossy soft soil area heavily treed and under a ft of overburden don't think anyone has been in this specific spot anytime recently as I was cutting the path out for first time. My thoughts are science project maybe? Some type large bird maybe? Or just odd thing fell from the sky lol? Not something I've seen before. Any help of course would be appreciated Jason

Hi I found this sphere near Nelson Ledges in Ohio. It is almost a perfect sphere but has a small dividing ledge at the circumference. About two inches. Very hard. I really have no idea, just know it’s a fossil. Sue

Hello!! I’ll get right into the backstory. I bought these together, labeled as “Tyrannosaur Eggshells”! Unfortunately they came with no other information They are (as you can see from attached photos) pretty small chunks. I was taken aback by how cheap they were, I’ve never bought dinosaur stuff before though so I’m not sure if that’s a normal price. What you can’t see in the photos: -has glittery and small crystal-like structures that shine in the light. Mostly on the sides of the shell. -Not particularly heavy. Seems to be lighter than what a rock their size would weigh. -makes a “clink” sound when tapped that is similar to how fired clay/pottery sounds -both have a slight curve The photos are in no particular order. Thank you all so much in advance!!
