Hello all! I just bought this batch of over 30 eggshell fragments for 1€. A decent deal The seller claims it is from a dinosaur and a relative to Titanosaur. Can somebody confirm this info or not? Thanks a lot. This is the only picture I have... I am not too sure if the location (Marseille,France) he put in the description is where the fragments were found or where he is shipping the fossils from... likely the second option but I am not sure. Thank you for the help! Regards

Hi, i own a trading post. and get rock hunters in here all the time. this was found in the zuni mountains here in western Nm. supposedly there are 4 more there. any id help is appreciated. im thinking its a concretion? best wishes.

Hello good evening to all A great friend of mine I've known for many years has this egg in her collection. Unfortunately I only have this photo, but even so, I believe that this photo is sufficient, and it is quite enlightening: In my opinion is a compound, which used real shells. What do you think? Supposedly, this should be an egg of Hypselosaurus discovered in France... @-Andy- @HamptonsDoc @Troodon

Good evening to all! Anyone who wants to acquire a legitimate fossilized Deinonychus egg, just have a look at our favorite auction site. Bearing in mind that at this price, in addition to the egg, the embryo is already included, so the price is a real bargain! The only problem is that I am a complete ignorant in this matter, so unfortunately I do not know how to explain this right for you, but in the advertisement, the seller explains everything in its smallest detail! I know that I run the serious risk of all of you taking this piece from me before I can even buy it, but I think I'll risk it anyway, after all I doubt you guys have US $95,00 left to make this investment that will be worth for one life!

These round objects are found in Ganzhou with dinosaur eggs. As far as I understand, they’re not Man-made. They are very round and of the same size. What are they? Eggs or concretion?

So I was on a hunt for Patoskeys over on lake Huron and I came across this very odd find. It looks to have the exact qualities of an egg. I have been searching around to find others like it and have come up empty. Any help?

Is this a dinosaur egg or concretion? It is from Ganzhou, Jiangxi of China. If it is a dinosaur egg, does it have shell?

So I could not help myself and just had to sate my curiosity and got one of the "real" looking eggs from our favourite auction site. I took some close up photos. It's pretty heavy. Not resin, can't burn or melt it and doesn't release any smells. Any other tests I can do or visual cues? It has a lot of grey-whitish on remaining eggshell and thinking it could be a morter they rubbed on. Ideas? Advice on tests?

Hello, For Easter' Monday I decided to hunt eggs, not in chocolate but in stone ! I got a nice spring weather in a beautiful landscape: In these marls dated from Eocene, we can find eggshells of Gastornis (giant bird https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastornis ) on the ground, here together with a gastrolithe: And a picture of a rare collapsed egg in the rock. It was so fragile that I could only take the shells without the matrix. A picture of the clean shells will come soon !

Found this today in a dried up creek a few shovels down on my girlfriends property in Wollombi NSW. Measures 8cms long & fragile. Any ideas if it’s more than just a rock, thanks in advance

We'll guys, I finally got an egg to hatch. Through gentle tender care, it happened. The world may never be the same again! I while back I got some eggs from one of our members in the UK. I wont mention his name but he has the initials John Brewer. The two eggs were, I suspect unfertilized and thus never managed to hatch. He sent me another one recently that had all the makings of a good specimen. Good shape, correct markings, and a certificate of authenticity, it just felt right. Here is a shot of it as it looked when it arrived. After a nice long soaking in my special hatching fluid, It began to break out of its shell and shock the World. A REAL LIVE DINOSAUR!!!! Get ready for Jurassic Park VI: The Revenge in vivid 3D. There's a whole heap of coprolite comin' your way!!!!

I discovered what looks like a fossilized egg today in northern Colorado. I found the piece in pile of landscape rock, filtered to 2in diameter. If anyone can provide me with information it would be much appreciated.

Going through my river rocks from the Lower Hunter Valley, Australia. I found this one 3/4 of a toothbrush in length approx 15cm. It looked different to all the others so I cracked it open into 3 large sections thinking it would have crystallisation inside only. Have not cleaned it or done any work on it at all as yet, opinions very appreciated if it's anything worth further work, Many Thanks from DownUnder

Hi Everyone, I just purchased multiple pieces of dino egg shell that all come from a partial single egg the recently shattered and want to try to glue it back together. There is no matrix and the egg is hollow. I ordered some PaleoBond PB100X Structural Adhesive, is that all I need? Any advice? I've never prepped or reconstructed anything before and figured this may be a fun project!

This clutch of dinosaur eggs is from Ganzhou of China. Among the normal sized eggs, there is a much smaller egg. Was it part of the same clutch (like leatherback has both normal sized eggs and small unfertilized eggs), or it belonged to another animal?
