Hi, more fossils from my collection. The first two pictures are of a pyritized Ammonite from Buttenheim, Germany and is from the Jurassic. The next two are of a pyritized Ammonite from the Volga River, Russia and is Jurassic. The next picture is of Marston Marble. The second to last and the final is Beringiaphyllum cupanoides from the Fort Union Formation in Montana.

I was looking around a friends rock quarry and found this mudstone slab covered in what looks like bird tracks. Are they? and if so how should I preserve them. I have Paleobond sealer. Should I use it? Thanks

I was into a bunch of Horsetail Calamites today and kept finding these what look like slugs. I can't imagine slugs fossilize well but they have the little antenna and everything. My guess is Horsetail whorl leaves or whatever they're called. They are about 1/2 inch long. Input would be appreciated. Good thing they're dead or my wife would not be pleased.

I can't imagine these are vertebrae but they were together on top of the ground big middle then small. The first two have center holes all the way through and the smallest only a little ways. I can provide more pics as needed.

I couldn't stand it and went out to my new site in the Fort Union/ Hell Creek formation in central Montana for a couple hours despite the mud and found lots of plant material with straight grain and almost a reed look. This guy was in the middle of the sample. It is segmented and curved. Is it a worm or maybe a reed? Also there were what looked like seeds. I found different things but don't want to overdo.

I've gotten permission to search a very large ranch that the owner says has never been checked out other than by hunters and cowboys. My question is how to ID the K-T boundary. This land has several black layers but this is the best defined. Is it by what you find? Could you get it tested for iridium? Or just put on the rattlesnake leggings and go for it?

In my fossil leaf collecting in the Fort Union formation near Roundup, Mt I run across these plants quite often. They are just a stem with these round pods or fruit attached. Pictured are two examples and as you can see the pods are round and not flattened out all the time. So far I have not found any leaves attached although there are several different species in the surrounding layers. Any ideas on species would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
