Another hunt recently with more E KS ‘glacial’ material. Posting this on behalf of my hunting partner. My novice guess is equus, but I’m not sure. If it is equus, got any species ideas? Thank you so much, I really appreciate the help!

From glacial deposits in E Kansas. I need some help on this one. When I found it, I assumed it was bison... however to my eyes it doesn't seem close to bison or cow after studying some papers. Could this be hippus, or possibly something else? As always, I really appreciate y'alls help. I'm stumped with this bone, I do my best to id stuff on my own- Still learning. Thanks! Proximal: Distal:

Hey everyone! I need some help identifying an object I found in Asotin county, Washington on the banks of the snake river. I believe the object is a bone. looks like one end of a femur to me but I'm just guessing. It's probably from a cow or horse, but it's really heavy, like it's petrified or water logged, leading me to wonder how old it is. I have never seen anything quite like it, myself. Any input would be amazing. Please and thank you.

I wonder if anyone could help me identify this equid fossil. Miocene of Tonopah, Nevada, I am told. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Found these two in south carolina near the Summerville and Charleston area, im fairly certain one is a tusk but if anyone could give more details on which type on elephant it could’ve been since im not familiar with the area. The second one is a horse tooth (I think) but I am a primarily florida hunter so I would like to know if its a three toed horse or another species since it looks different then the ones ive found down here.

Hello everyone! I went to the beach yesterday, and came back with my first mammal fossil...maybe? It certainly feels like one, but I'm very new to this and am not sure what exactly it could be. The waves were just bringing it in when I spotted it. It was found in Northeast Florida. My understanding is that fossilized horse teeth are pretty common, so that would be my best guess. But when I look up images of fossilized horse teeth, most of them have a very rectangular shape, some with a slight curve to them. Could it be a tooth from a different mammal, or maybe even something completely different? I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts. Thanks!

From the album: Sonickmonx's South Carolina Finds
This was my first nice pleistocene find. Found in a lag deposit. -
Ok, I'm finally got the chance to post these finds from about 3 weeks ago. So, three weeks ago we took a dive trip down in Venice, left Saturday, and came back after the dive Sunday, anyway it took a over a week to get everything cleaned off. Here's the finds. and as I was going through my Camara roll I realized that I forgot to take a picture of the clean finds before I put them away. My brains been scrambled up. Thanks for reading anyway, hope you enjoyed.

I may get another hunting trip before 2024, but possibly not. It will be tough to match this one on Volume and diversity. The smaller shark teeth were numerous, including 4 broken Megs .. late in the day found an almost complete one. When there are a lot of bones in the sieve. I limit myself to the best 3 , usually ones I do not recognize. I always think I'll have time later to attempt an ID. We'll see, On the lower left , one of the better Dugong Vert process I have found. There are a couple of Mastodon tooth fragments, a Mammoth fragment that might be a spit tooth and a piece of Bark ivory in lower left. a Bovid tooth that might be a broken m3, a Paramylodon harlani lower left caniniform and some interesting horse teeth. Add in a whale Vert, tortoise osteoderm and dolphin bulla that showcase the diversity of the fossils available in the river. The Peace River is relatively low right now , but will get lower. One advantage is the depth at which I dig. Due to a problem with my lower back, I enjoy hunting deeper water. Today I was digging fossils from nearly 6 feet below the river surface, and frequently I had to hold my breath to keep the river from flowing in. It is a technique I developed over the years. A reason that these fossil spots have continued productivity is that they are unavailable to hunt with normal techniques most of the year. Some closer photos of a few fossils. I was hunting alone today and based on experience, I do not have to worry about gators whenever I am wearing my 5 mm wetsuit. When I am chilled, the gators want nothing to do with me or anyone else. Just recording the finds, and sharing as I try to do with every hunting trip... Jack

Hi all! Went to the Peace river for the 1st time on Thanksgiving break, had a blast, am going to write a trip report soon. But these 4 bones are stumping me as to what they could be. Everything found was in the lower Peace. The finds are numbered for convenience. Thanks in advance for any help and guidance! 1) in my research, this looks like a camel unciform bone, but I wanted to ask around to make sure 2) my gut tells me this could be bison something, but I have no idea what part of the bison skeleton it is, if there's some anatomy resources available let me know. 3) this bone was dense, it's probably unlikely to ID, but I wanted to rule out Mammoth or not. 4) lastly what is probably yet another horse/bison frag. This one was annoying to figure out.

Discovered an intriguing tooth in an Austin, TX creek. Unsure if it's from a bison, cow, or horse. Any insights appreciated!

Can anyone tell me if these skulls are modern or ice age horses? They were both found in a river in western Iowa.
