Hello! First time posting so I'm sorry if the formatting is wrong...anyways, I recieved this big trilobite as a gift from a shop here in Michigan. I'm afraid I don't have any other information, other than it was what I think is cheap for a fossil? Anyways, here's a few pics of this sucker. Thanks!!!

I found this concretion a couple years ago and have wondered what it was ever since. I believe the exposure was Lincoln creek formation, which is late eocene to early miocene. It measures 1cm. Thanks in advance for the help, my apologies for the lousy photos.

Hello!! I’ll get right into the backstory. I bought these together, labeled as “Tyrannosaur Eggshells”! Unfortunately they came with no other information They are (as you can see from attached photos) pretty small chunks. I was taken aback by how cheap they were, I’ve never bought dinosaur stuff before though so I’m not sure if that’s a normal price. What you can’t see in the photos: -has glittery and small crystal-like structures that shine in the light. Mostly on the sides of the shell. -Not particularly heavy. Seems to be lighter than what a rock their size would weigh. -makes a “clink” sound when tapped that is similar to how fired clay/pottery sounds -both have a slight curve The photos are in no particular order. Below is a piece of sediment that I pulled from my yard here in San Antonio, Tx. I’m just not 100% sure on what type of rock this is sitting on top of the sediment.

I went to the aquatics shop this morning to buy some fish food. They were selling these rocks as decor. Person helping me had no idea re provenance. I think they are geologic in origin. But with the banding was thinking there is an outside chance they could be Stromatolites About hand size.

I found this bivalve eroding out of the Pleistocene Bay Point Formation of Point Loma near Sunset Cliffs in San Diego CA. Does anyone know the ID or have a good resource for Bay Point Formation Mollusks that isn’t paywalled. This isn’t important for the ID, but the matrix filling in the shell is full of original aragonite shell material! It’s common at the site, but still really amazing!

Last month I collected fossil shells at several exposures in Virginia of the Late Miocene Eastover Formation (Cobham Bay Member) and Early Pliocene Yorktown Formation (Sunken Meadow Member). While my intention was to focus on the larger fossils, when I got home and started to clean my finds, I thought it would be cool to screen the excess debris and see what else I had found. Although I ended up finding a lot of tiny shells and shell fragments, they require a microscope to see and the fine details have made identification challenging. I have consulted several publications on these formations and yet I am a bit stumped on these last ten fossils. Any help further narrowing these down would be greatly appreciated! Got this off online, because I thought it was pretty cool looking. Seller didn't know what it was and described it as a reptile. I don't think it's an alligator. I am fairly certain it is some sort of fish, and that the bottom of the fish is exposed. There was no locale given, I only know it shipped from Minnesota.

Hello, here is a fossil I found a few years ago in Israel, I do not remember any more information about the place it was found in because as I said it was a few years ago. I think this fossil is interesting but unfortunately I don't have much general fossil knowledge so I don't know what could this fossil be. I would love to here any ideas about what can this fossil be and also I added a picture with a mask for scale.

Hello again Fossil friends! I have another fossil I need help with. Found with other shell and coral fossils in a river shore in north eastern Kansas, most likely Pennsylvanian. It looks to be maybe a sponge with exterior and interior... structure? Couldn't figure this one out. Maybe someone with more knowledge can ID it for sure.

Hello! I'm asking for another person who found these fossils in southern Sweden (Kristianstad). There is sites around this region which have fossils from the cretaceous period so Im thinking it is plausible that these also are cretaceous. I've numbered each fossil to make it easier to talk about them and to id what type of fossils they are.

Hello, I bought this leaf from the internet from someone who told be it might be from Canada. I googled is it but I could nt find a great simularity in Cananda. So I showed it a friend and he said it could be a leaf from the Green River Formation. Can anyone confirm this? Or tell me where it could come from? Thanks in advance!

I recieved this ammonite as a freebie with another, larger ammonite. It is pretty tiny, maybe .7 inches across at the largest. Can anyone identify the species, so I can label it on my shelf?

I honestly don’t know what to say about this. Is it even an ammonite??? Looks so unusually lumpy. Found this deep in my collection without locality info or time period. The back has some kind of glue that has yellowed. I’ve got no idea how that got there...
