    Beltinge Herne Bay ID help

Hi, I found this in the London Clay at Beltinge Herne Bay, can anyone please help with ID of what it possibly might be? its around 8cm long and 2-3mm thick. it was dark when I found it and is now getting lighter in colour as it dries. Seems to have a few layers and the middle layer is a little transparent maybe? Thanks for any help in IDing, Kylie

  9. Hi everyone, I found these whilst beach combing for fossils at Walton-On-The-Naze, Essex, England just a few meters from the London Clay level. They are fossilised and look like vertebrae. can anyone help identify which mammal they came from. They were found together in the same spot, stuck amongst pyrite and shingle. a big thank you in advance Stephen
