  1. I found this fossil on Monday while exploring one of the quarries in Madison County, NY. Think it's a Phyllocarida, but would like to hear others' opinions on it. The first pic is the entire specimen. The second is a close up of the tail and the last is a close up of the carapace. preservation isn't wonderful and it tends to blend in with the rock. If it is a Phyllocarida it would be the first one I've found. Thank you.
