Hello! I have this iridescent Petalodus tooth that I would like to preserve. Firstly, it has a severe crack though the matrix (see pictures). Secondly, is there anything that I should do with the tooth itself? What are my options? I appreciate your help.

Hello All! Was wondering if this is a possible Liopleurodon tooth? It is from the Orton Brick Pit, a site known for marine fossils dating back 150 million years to the Jurassic period, now a private site closed to the public due to conservation. Tooth measures approximately 2 inches, pictures attached below

Hello all, I’ve had this tyrannosaur tooth for a little while now, but haven’t been able to narrow down a species. I’m curious if it is possible to ID it any further. Would love to learn more. It was found in the Judith River Formation (Hill County, MT), and is ~13.5mm. Thank you all for your help in advance!

Real or fake megalodon tooth

Hello everyone! Ive been offered this Megalodon tooth, its from Indonesia and measures 6.29 inches. I'm assuming 20% of the root has been restored, not too sure though this is the first time of me trying to differentiate fakes in Megalodons.

Went out metal detecting yesterday and found this in northwest Arkansas. It's exactly 2 1/2" long. It looked like a black rock so I thought it was an unusual shape so I brought it home washed it and it was white. The shape is unusual and the rings on the end are like wood. There's a tiny hole the black is dirt in the hole. It sparkles in the sun a tiny bit but it's not crystal and it doesn't look like the limestone I usually find. Help me out please, thanks.

EDIT: Likely just a weird concretion or weathered chunk of rock. 😬Thanks all for the clarification. Hi all - while looking for Cretaceous fossils, I found some interesting chunks of what I thought might be bone of some kind amongst the piles of white limestone. When I cleaned them up at home, they started to look more and more like a very worn mammoth molar and some other fragments. Can anyone confirm the ID or offer any other info/ideas? Thanks! Yay, i finally got my hands on a nice Eocarcharia tooth from the Elhraz formation, Niger ! Its 3,5 cm in length and the broken end is quite smooth. Has anyone an Idea why ? It's as smooth as glass. Are there any rivers running through that formation which could have possibly sanded it down? Thanks to hear some of yours ideas!

Hello, I’m looking for help identifying this tooth. We were shark tooth hunting in Florida and found this in the dry sand. It was in an area between a bay and the ocean. It is about 0.75” in length. Any thoughts?

Is my Spino tooth legitimate?

About half an hour ago, I bought a Spino tooth from a shop filled with many random things near my holiday property. I just noticed this tooth has a white chip in it and it led me to slightly doubt if it is real. I think it most likely is real.

Hi! This is a 19MM rooted theropod tooth from the KemKem group. Sold as an Abelisaurus. But would it be possible to be a Baby rooted Carcharodontosaurus tooth? Not sure.
