Hi everyone, I have here an indeterminate theropod tooth from from the Tiouraren Fm of Niger. The locality given to me was Tiouraren Hill, Téneré Desert. I've used Troodon's thread to narrow down the possibilities: 1.23" long 0.49" wide Distal serration density is 2.33/mm (mid-carina) Mesial serration density is 2.33/mm (near the tip; no serrations visible mid-carina) It's a partial tooth so I cannot get accurate base/height ratios. I'd appreciate any help identifying this. Thank you, Bellamy

I have here a theropod tooth from I-n-Abanghaghit, Niger. It was labeled as Rugops. However, I was suspicious after obtaining it. I consulted with someone who deals in Niger material, who noted that this locality is Jurassic and thus it could not be Rugops. I read Troodon's thread on identifying Niger theropods. Per that guide and other sources, it seems that the only option would be Afrovenator based on that locality (I think I-n-Abanghaghit is synonymous with Agadez but not completely sure on that). This tooth is 0.85" long. Distal serrations count is 10.2 / 5 mm. Me

Hello, I have my eye on a few teeth. If someone can take a look and see that they all look ok, are as described etc, that would be great? 1 - A Tyrannosaur premax from Two Medicine. 2.2 cm -- No county known, unfortunately. I know this is a tricky formation that overlaps many counties, so I may leave this one if it cn't be confirmed as being from there via preservation/colorisation. 2 - Tyrannosaur tooth from Judith River. Lewistown, Montana. 1.7cm, sold as a juvenile. The crack visible seems like just a minor bit of damage and isn't anything to worry about? It doesn't

Hello! A friend get these teeth from Niger, but I do not know the ID and if all are from dinosaur. I think the first ones are from suchomimus, the smaller ones from rugops and the last one (hervibore) from ouranosaurus. What do you think? Good ones? Thank you so much.

Hey guys, I saw this tooth listed as Kryptops tooth, seller says it was found at Elrhaz Formation of the Tenere Desert of Niger, and it could also be from the Afro minus or Eocarcharia. What do you guys think?

Rarity of this afrovenator tooth?

I saw this afrovenator atakensis tooth from the tiouraren formation, niger with no repair or restoration. What is the rarity of it and quality?( common, uncommon, rare, fairly rare, ultra rare or almost never seen) does the broken tip affect this? Thank you. It is described as unbroken and incredibly rare. -

This is an Afrovenator tooth from Marraba, Niger (Tiouraren Formation). The fossil is in rough shape, but rare. I’m still working developing an eye for noting the differences, but still difficult for me..Having trouble determining if it is indeed Afrovenator, Carcharodontosaurus sp. , or undescribed theropod. I tried comparing different teeth, but still have issues. Any opinion on this appreciated.
