  1. Hello experts - I am considering purchasing this Dicranurus monstrosus Trilobite fossil. I have some good images of the specimen, so am wondering if anyone here can help me sort out if it is potentially a fake or not. To me, the way it is attached to the matrix, the look of the end of one of the 'horns' and the way the Trilobite shell is kind of 'muddy' looking is making me wonder... I've been looking for a specimen of this type for a while so I am hoping no one sees any reason to avoid purchasing. Thanks!
