Me and a buddy were looking for some limestone caves that had a bunch of calcite... long story short we drove to this abandoned marble quarry it was massive and the quality of marble was magnificent... after a long day of hiking and climing around this snarge mountain for the 3rd day and still couldnt find said cave so we headed back to the car disappointed and defeated.. we walked past a bunch of broken boulders of marble and old workings of the quary... i was admiring the beauty of this marble when i saw what looked like a clay imprint of a plant in the side of the marble.. not knowing anyth

I see many of these fossils where I live. I was wondering if they are bamboo. I read that Millions of years ago, it use to be tropic in Eastern Canada.

From New Brunswick Canada. I saw these. One appears to be bamboo looking. The other was big rock on ground with what appeared to be footprints of different size. The larger one was no bigger than palm of hand. Besides footprint, something almost look like dog or pig head. Was just curious to know if they were actually fossils. the bamboo pic didn't load. I will have to add new topic. sorry am new
