Tonight, I was trying to pull up directions for a friend to the wonderful astrodapsis collection site in scotts valley...seems that this site has been posted with no trespassing signs...as indicated by a few posts i've seen online..if this is indeed true...its a loss of a valuable site...its an area that was collector friendly for kids and beginners...it was a wonderful spot that started many collections..I will miss this spot.

Hey guys new to the forums and thought I’d make a post to have you guys help identify some possible fossils that i found in a local creek after heavy rains. There are lots of mission era ranches so there is a possibility of them being old but not fossilized cow bones. Let me know what you guys think

Hi Everyone, I'm just getting back into serious fossil collecting after 40 years in the high tech industry where I didn't have too much free time to do so. I am mostly retired now and looking forward to getting out to collecting sites. Also looking forward to learning from all of you!

I live in Los Gatos, CA and have explored all the fossil locations I know of nearby, mostly capitola. I'm traveling to the east coast over the summer - I will be spending two weeks in New York, NY, about a week in New Harbor ME, and several days in Milford, PA. It would be great if you could recommend some sites nearby! Thanks

Can anyone identify these? About an inch in diameter, and inch long, found 1 hr north of san francisco along coast.
