Hello again. I wanted to share this jaw section I found in Wyoming's White River back in July 2020. My initial thoughts were that it belonged to the primitive canid Hesperocyon, which in my experience has been the most abundant carnivore in those badlands, however, it doesn't quite match the other material I found which I'm confident is dog. While scrolling through the forum I saw some similarities to a jaw section labelled as Daphoenus by @Nimravis on the thread below: The fossil itself is 3 cm long and ~2 cm from the tip of the tooth to the base of the jaw. I'd be interested to see some opinions. @jpc @ParkerPaleo @siteseer

It’s been a few years since I’ve posted, good to be back- I’m looking for unprepped material! I’m just a hobbiest who enjoys the prep work as much or more than the collecting. I’m not an expert by any means but I’ve done a handful of large green river fish, a few mammoth tusks, an Oreodont upper skull, and a few other miscellaneous specimens. One of the most enjoyable prep projects I did was a small oreodont upper skull that was in grade A condition, but since then (years ago) I cannot seem to find anything similar. I am most interested in any unprepped white River specimens, ideally skulls, turtle shells, etc. as long as they’re in grade A or B condition- I’m not an expert at reconstruction. I’m also interested in some of the larger and more rare species from the Green River formation. A large and complete Mioplosus preferably from the 18in layer would be great, I’ve only ever done one of those before and it was sadly around 30% disarticulated. I just acquired these fossils from the fossil fair at the sanford civic center in central florida, these are all allegedly from the Cynelos genus of bear-dogs. The tag on these specimens reads: "Cyenlos carnoiavorus fossil bear-dog tibia, femur, cervical vertebrae early miocene epoch thomas farm site chilchrist co. florida." Here's the tibia. (measurements in cm) I have another bear-dog specimen ready for an ID, but it is a different genus and comes from a different area, so I will just show the specimens I purchased from the suwanee river.
