My family and I headed out to shark tooth beach on jekyll island tonight and I found this. I have no idea what it is but I feel like it's staring at me... or is a nose... or something. Anyway my 5 year old won't stop asking about it and I can't find anything like it online. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's about the size of a quarter. Thank you!

Hi again i have in my collection 2 fossila that i bought on a trip to Nepal. I bought these from a roadside vendor that could have gotten these from anywhere in the Himalayase. I haven't seen anything like these from any established shops. So i assume they were not found in large quantities. The first one is a round rock that opened to expose a spiral shell speced with gold colored dust. About 4 inches in diameter. ThE second one appear to be a portion of a wormliked organism,and peeled open into layers of disc about one and a half inch diameter. Also tinted with gold color. sorry, i don't have more information. Kay
