Hello - I’m new to the group. I recently found a large bone, the measures 26.5” long, and at the widest point measures 5.25” wide. The narrowest point measures 3” wide. The attached file has pics. Could someone please let me know if this bone may be one from a pilot whale? I was walking the beach in North Carolina, when I found this bone in the surf, which was slightly buried in the sand. thank you in advance for any help!

Hi there! I went fossil hunting today at GMR and found all these awesome bones! I am most interested in what the top row, first 3 on left could be. They were found right next to each other. all the other bones were found in a close distance (within 10 feet) of the first 3. Thank you for any and all help! if anyone has any input on any other bones in the first pic, I would appreciate that as well

I ordered some fossil matrix from the Aurora Museum shop in North Carolina. The kids had an absolute blast going through it! We found a very worn vertebra that I was hoping someone might be able to identify. There was also another bone that looks awfully distinctive, but I have no idea what it is. Thanks in advance!

Hi! What kind of animal is this? I thought it was from a human long ago or maybe a moose / cow. What kind of animal is this from? As we can see it's a spine with remaining pieces and the rib Cage or the back bones? / ManFromSweden94
