Brachiosaurus Bone Fragment Authenticity

Ok a website I was looking at is selling what it claims to be pieces of Brachiosaurus Bone. I cannot post photos because I would incriminate the seller, but the piece looks genuine enough. What I want to know is the likelihood of it actually being Brachiosaurus. By my understanding their fossils are quite rare so even a small fragment of the genuine article would not be cheap, these ones are offered at 19 dollars. According to their information, their pieces comes from a Brachiosaurus femur from the Morrison Formation in Utah. The Morrison Formation is the right, and as I understand only, place to find such fossils if this was genuine but it's also a place were other sauropod fossils are found. They also include an image of some fossil bone that I assume the piece was taken from, but it's give no true scale to it or shape. It sounds a little to true good to me, but what do you all think based on the info they provide. I personally doubt it, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. -
Big brook, NJ bone fragment find. Anyone have any ideas what part it is? Process is very porous and brittle. Light weight low density. There are 2 foramens and possibly a partial of a 3rd along the same ridge line the others follow. I tried comparing it to mammal vertebrae and skull bones. I thought the foramens would provide enough anatomy to pin point an ID but not successful. Attached are images. Please excuse the remaining purplish clay I used trying to reconstruct.

This is the last of three from me, of these likely petrified wood pieces that I am just curious about. To recap, I believe it's pet wood but am just checking my curiosity. Found in western Nebraska, near the river or canal off the river, lots of pet wood around here but these look like they could be bone. Apologies, I did my best to get the lime off of this one but it's not as well-preserved as the other two and I didn't want to keep chipping away at it lest I break it. Brute strength. I did my best with the pics, the piece itself is spongy looking and grainy.

It's been a long time since I've done this, and a few weeks since renewing my membership here, but I've read the specs again and I think I'm ready to start posting the pieces that have brought me back to you experts here in this forum. I was in Pennsylvania when I joined the forum the first time. I am now in western Nebraska and have become more rockhound more than mudlark simply by the nature of what the earth brings up. Most of the time I am satisfied with my own identification or don't need one to be happy with a piece. I have recently found a couple of things that baffle me. I've been on the lookout for petrified wood, it's rather everywhere out here, and picked up the piece I'm posting here and two more I'll post separately. My guess is that they are likely petrified wood. However, they look like they could be something else that I dare not speak aloud lest I get my hopes up. If any of the three are this fossil of which I dare not speak, this ID post will tell me and I can be surprised and delighted. So, petrified wood or something else?

Hello everyone I have an ID request for the board for these assumed cetacean bones. These were found diving in a southeastern US river that typically produces Miocene era materials (Megalodon/Hastalis shark teeth, Whale Bulla, Periotics, Teeth, Vertebrae, Assorted Bones) with the occasional Ice Age material (Mammoth/Mastodon teeth and bones). I see these fairly often (about every third dive) but don't typically pick these up. They have fairly deep grooves on one side (pretty consistently seen in the same pattern) and are pretty flat on another side. Attached are photos of two that I have kept and couldn't find any info from Googling. Thank you for looking and your opinions. Let me know if another photo angle may help.

I decided to go hit up a new creek that I’d had my eyes on for a while. I didn’t know whether or not this would have anything good in it, so I biked there to go find out myself. Let me say, for the 1 1/2 hour I biked to reach this place, I’m really happy with all that I found. I also saw one of the coolest owls I’ve ever seen. It was about 2 and a half feet in size and the color of it was orangish brown and black. I think it was a great horned owl, and it looked like this: It swooped down on a branch about 10 feet in front of me, looked me dead in the eyes, and then a second later flapped it’s wings 2 times and was gone. It left about as fast as it landed, but stayed long enough where I can remember the encounter. Now onto the finds! I found an assortment of shells, including a few that might need some identification if y’all are wanting to chime in. Found some shark teeth, ray plates, and large reptile bones as well. Here’s all the stuff from this new creek: the total haul: a shell I would like some ID help on (aquia formation, Paleocene): found this beautiful gastropod from the same creek yesterday: any ideas would be helpful! Another gastropod: a what I believe to be a turritella and a fish scale in the rock: some bone fragments (large but nice pieces): and lastly, shark teeth and a croc tooth: that was a long report so if you stuck around, thanks! I won’t ever forget this day and how close that large bird came to me!

Hello, We found this item in a crop field when out on a hike and would greatly appreciate any help to identify whether it is a bone or something else. It looks like the end of a bone, the ball bit that goes into the joint or maybe not? We first thought it was human or mammal but then saw it was fossilized rock with signs of wear and tear and maybe teeth marks. Also we can see what looks like fossilized pinkish marrow in the middle of the bone that is more prominent than the picture shows (sorry) with little air pockets. There was also lots of rocks and interesting bits and pieces in the soil. Thanks in advance for all help given, Al Location of find - Leicestershire County, East Midlands, UK

I found this in a creekbed. The creek has cut down into a deep layer of clay about 40 feet and lots of interesting things are falling out of the clay. To me it looks like it could be part of a mouth with tooth sockets.

From Madagascar What kind of bone is this? Is he a coccyx? Can you tell what kind of animal it is? There are two strange protrusions at the junction of the two spines. They are like lead shots into the bones. Thank you for your answers.

My wife found this chunk of bone at Myrtle Beach, SC yesterday evening. I think it is a skull fragment. Can anyone confirm or deny and maybe identify a species? Thanks The photos are from both sides of the bone. #1,4,&5 are what I'm calling interior.

Would greatly appreciate if anyone has thoughts on this bone found on the beach in Myrtle Beach. It is triangular, laterally compressed, and has a concave articulating surface on the long edge. I’m thinking some type of carpal bone? Turtle or dolphin, maybe. Thanks in advance!

Hi. It’s been over a year since I have been out hunting. I finally was able to get in a couple hunts in last week. I found the usual teeth and other fossils. It just felt so good to finally get back at it! Wanted to post some of the nicer items I found. Enjoy: 1 and 2. Scapanorhynchus texanus - Goblin shark 3 and 4. Cretolamna - Mackeral shark 5. Coprolite? I am so hoping I am right about this because it will be a first for me! @frankh8147 @The Jersey Devil 6. Bone - probably modern but here’s to hoping 7. What could have been. Haha this would have been a nice one 8. Nice little fish vert 9. I originally thought this was a pieces of a clasper but after looking at pictures I’m not sure it’s really anything. Maybe a enchodus fang piece? Thanks for any feedback!

Massive Spinosaurus Claw and Skull

Hello everyone, as im following up on my previous post while im on vacation someone tipped me to visit a local Fossil shop in a small town. So they have a massive Spinosaur Skull displayed and what interests me the most a huge claw with bone. sadly i had a language barrier and someone from my friends translated a bit for me. The shop owner was not very friendly and seemed a little suspicious with my questions ‘are they authentic’ and ‘where lies there origin’. He then told me they are purely authentic and that he was doing this for 35 years. He took it personal that I asked him this. Once I revealed my collection he was like oh this guy knows a bit about Fossils. What fascinated me the most about this story is the fact that he then told me these were found locally in a place in France named Pourrieres. A hidden private property place were only 3 people know about. I was like what ? I thought they only lived in Egypt / Marokko etc. Very interesting. Does anyone know about this? anyway the claw is calling my name , it wants me to take it home lol. But it does not come for free, quite te opposite. So it would be very apreciate if you guys could let me in on your opinion about authenticity / quality. As im still a new collector that just started this amazing hobby. Found this bone chunk this weekend on a creek hunt in Monmouth County NJ, looks to be a piece if jaw with some partial teeth! I know bone can be very hard to ID but hoping some distinguishing marks and parts might help on this on. Hole on one end and 3 partial teeth, with one half full root exposed. Let me know what you think! I can take additional pics if needed. Happy Hunting!

Here I have attached pictures of a recent find I made in Maryland’s Aquia Formation. It’s a Paleocene bone from what I think is a turtle. What do y’all think? It’s very thin whatever it is.

I have some new additions to my collection and a few of them are missing labels. The minerals are well labeled in this collection but the fossils are not. Most are classic specimens from well known localities so no problems there. This bone however has me thinking. Its short, thick, and stocky (115mm x 76mm x 58mm). My first thought was sloth/glypto. ?? Any help as always is appreciated.
