Hi all, A friend in North Carolina has this (among many other) box of bones from Morocco that need some sort of ID or general push in the right direction. I haven't been staring at bones long enough to make sense of these, but the tray they're sitting in is 15 inches long. My own personal uneducated guess is that I see some metacarpals and other small hand bones, a metatarsal or two, etc. , but I welcome outside opinion. I have my eye on the one top right, first in the group of 3 so I'm especially curious about that one. Mahalo!

Unknown Bird/Pterosaur/Small Raptor bones from Hell Creek Formation, Montana

I've got a few bones that I've been scratching my head over for a couple days. They are from the Hell Creek Formation in Garfield County, Montana. They're extremely thin and hollow, and only one seems to have undergone some compression. I'm including measurements with the photos below. Curious to hear what you all think. -
I'm currently working on a construction project in Minneapolis, MN. We uncovered some bones about seven feet down while excavating in the street. They are very dark brown. Help on ID would be appreciated. I know they're not fossilized but seem to me to be fairly old. Maybe Buffalo or Cow? Thanks in advance.

Found these two bones from Big Brook in NJ. Seems like the one on the right is just a limb bone from a deer, but left one seems too large to be from a deer. Possibly a femur from a cow? Bear? Any other ideas?

Hi guys, I was digging in my backyard and found a lot of bones (at approximately 40-50cm). I think it’s from a wild boar but I really want to know if that is correct. 100 years ago my backyard was a Forrest en most likely a place for hunting thanks! (i hope this topic is in the right place)

While walking though a wash after a heavy monsoon flood, I recently came across this bone sticking halfway out of the sand. I live in southern Arizona and heavy seasonal rains carry tons of debris from the mountaintops, all the way down through the city. I obviously have not cleaned it up, as it still has some fibers stuck to it. It is very weighty and quite large. I'm guessing it's maybe a cow vertebra, but honestly I have no idea. Also, I cannot get over how it resembles a really cute smiling face with spiky hair span widgetspan widget

My son and I found these interesting looking stones in our backyard while digging a hole for a pond, We found them at a depth of approx. 50 cm closely to each other. Are these bones? Location is Belgium (north)

Hi everyone, I bought this piece long ago and after last move I forgot it in a moving box. I just rediscovered it and I would like to know more about it. The seller said it was an Enchodus half jaw from Morocco Cretaceous. In my opinion : this is a real piece but perhaps an assemblage (just hope it is not a a complete Frankensteinsaurus). it is not Enchodus but it is definitely some kind of Halisaurus. I suspect there is a left dentary (?), a right surangular (??? probably glued piece) and 2 other bones (underneath the surangular and above jaw). I would be very happy to have your opinion and more information on this piece. Thanks for your help !

Any idea why these little bones are blue? (I know the look a little green here but in sunlight they’re much more blue.) Found a very remote place in Central Turkey.

Hello, We found this item in a crop field when out on a hike and would greatly appreciate any help to identify whether it is a bone or something else. It looks like the end of a bone, the ball bit that goes into the joint or maybe not? We first thought it was human or mammal but then saw it was fossilized rock with signs of wear and tear and maybe teeth marks. Also we can see what looks like fossilized pinkish marrow in the middle of the bone that is more prominent than the picture shows (sorry) with little air pockets. There was also lots of rocks and interesting bits and pieces in the soil. Thanks in advance for all help given, Al Location of find - Leicestershire County, East Midlands, UK
