Real Mosasaur Teeth and Bones?

Hey everyone, I saw this fossil being sold and I think I am going to buy it, but I don’t know if it’s real or fake. It is two rooted Mosasaur teeth with extra jaws and bones (I contacted the seller, who told me they were also probably Mosasaur bones). It was found in Phosphate Deposits, in Khourigba, Morocco. Please help!

Hi! I have asked about these on my facebook group, and one I have asked my state museum about, The first one I found looks like a hip bone possibly (I forgot what he had called it) He was thinking ot could be a Horse or Bison. The second is a longer skinnier bone, I found it close to the place that I found the first one, I noticed it has four holes, one on each side and at the top and bottom is that normal? I have no clue to what this one came from and might not ever find out but I just think both are soo cool! I also found a very odd bone stuck in what I think is limestone, on my facebook group everyone said it was rust...I'm legit like 100000% sure it's bone but everyone thought different, I even etched around the bone on the limestone to make the bone much more prominent, what do you all think? All were found in my backyard which is a large wooded area the two full bones where found in a creek back there and the one in limestone was found after a heavy rain on a slope **I'll post the rest in the comments below**

Advice for Temnospondyli fossil hunting in Pennsylvania :)

Hello everyone. I am an incredibly novice fossil hunter from Pennsylvania. From where I live, it is heavy Carboniferous territory. One of the items on my bucket list is to eventually find something from a temnospondyl, even if it is nothing more than a trackway or even better - a bone fragment! Would anyone be willing to share with me advice on what to look for / or what has helped them in finding anything from a Temnospondyl or Lepospondyl? Do they appear more in certain rocks than others? I live in the Pittsburgh area, near where Fedexia was discovered ten years ago. I'm hoping to eventually find something related to Fedexia or another temnospondyli. From what I'm realizing, these little guys are hard to come by. Any advice? Thanks everyone! -
Reading the morning news, found this article: http://www.realclearlife.com/books/inside-illegal-unethical-world-owning-dinosaur-bones/ Well, we have lots of fossil hunters from lots of countries. This seems untrue to me... sort of fake news. What say you all?

Hi everyone ! I'm here to show you some of my new fossils which are also in my collection.This time something much different.I have mammoth bone parts,found in Danube river,place is called Ram,near Belgrade.I've got them as a gift from a friend. U can see first the part of the lower jaw of the Juvenile Mammoth,a scapula part,part of the mammoth molar and many parts of Mammoth tusk fragments.They are not from the same individual and it's unknown if it's from Woolly Mammoth,Mammuthus trogontherii or from Mammuthus meridionalis.Enjoy. Recently I visited a clay pit near Mistelgau in Bavaria. It's a kinda famous quarry because of the "belemnite battle field". Huge plates with hundreds/thousands belemnites come from there. But you can also findother fossils like ammonites and also bones. I already was there a few times and I mainly found ammonites and of course belemnites. But this time I also found some bones in the area of the Belemnite battle field. They were just laying therebut it was kinda difficult to find them because they are round, Belemnites are round etc. so I more or less crawled through the quarry So here are two picture of the quarry: The typical ground there: Lots of belemnites, some ammonites and very rare other fossils like bones. I found two types of bones. Firstly Ichthyosaur paddle bones: Here is a picture of all the paddle bones I found (unprepped): Mostly they were kinda small but I was able to find a nice one with a length of 3 cm: And here is another detailed picture of a small one (1cm)

I found this at the beach. Do you think it's a human radius bone or animal bone? I grabbed it in the waves on the east coast of Fl today. It perfectly fits from my elbow to wrist.

Hello all, I got these two bones a couple of years ago. The biggest (first) one is 24 cm in lenght, the other one is 13 cm. I think the first one is from a crocodile? They are both repaired but not composited. I want to use them in my essay for school so I would really like to know what they are.

I'm having a hard time finding any images of anything other than the outside/side view of a spinosaur pelvic bone. I'm trying to see what the bone looks like in general, but all too many times...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many times I'll spend forever unsuccessfully trying to come across pictures, images, or diagrams that show what a bone looks like from other angles than what you see be looking at the skeleton from generic angles, like this one. In some cases it's not TOO difficult, but even those common bones have areas that you can never see, unless you get totally lucky and happen across it, OR if there's maybe, hopefully some site/database that specifically shows what entire bones look like. I doubt that, but I know there's perfect diagrams floating around on the web, but I can't seem to find any *im just talking about dinos and other extinct animal bones. I'm sure there's plenty of sites with images of every conceivable angle of every bone from humans and common living animals, but I'm not looking for that kind of thing.

Can anyone ID these bones? They are from the Two Medicine Formation, they have these weird bumps on them which I first thought was skin but it looks like it's part of the bone or whatever it is.

Large Interesting Bone New Jersey Cretaceous? Scute? Dinosaur? Turtle?

Hello everyone, had a super quick trip to the cretaceous creeks of new jersey and found this particularly interesting large bone fragment, likely it is a chunk of miscellaneous bone material but it reminds me alot of a scute like ankylosaurus or some sort of other bone scute especially the edge, or from maybe something like a large turtle but I am entirely not sure if it's dinosaur, marine reptile, etc or if there is anyway to tell, looks super suspicious to me anyways so if anyone has any ideas I'd definitely love to hear them. (If more pictures are needed I will definitely be able to get some more angles if necessary)

when i was in miami during the summer i went to this mall in palm beach where they had this museum that has dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals but they are some fossils in there that i dont know what they are so i wanted them to have IDed.

Dear fellow forum goers, These past few weeks have been quite busy, but that has not stopped me from going on the occasional fossil excursion. A few trips went by since my last posting and I decided to let some trips accumulate before posting again. On these trips I interacted with forum members @Woopaul5 and @frankh8147. The most recent trip was today, 08/12/18, and was somewhat productive. Frank found what we believe to be a part of a mosasaur brain case, which will surely be in his "finds of the year list". I was not as luck but ended up scoring a small point fragment and a jaw section of some fish. There were also some nice quality teeth that I found today. Other than this trip, I scored some nice finds on a few other trips throughout the two months. I hope you enjoy the finds, as I enjoyed finding them, and have a nice day.
