This was a crab concretion I smacked to see if anything recognizable was in it, there wasn't but the outside had several places with Bryzoa I'm assuming. First time I've had hands on experience with it and trying to ID it is trickier than I thought

Hi This is my first post, but I have been collecting fossils for probably 10yrs mostly on the Jurassic coast Dorset UK. I have quite a collection now especially because of the abundance of fossil opportunities in Dorset. Could I ask for help in identifying a few I found last week. These are from the Kimmeridge clay which is marine clay from the late Jurassic to lower Cretaceous in Weymouth Dorset. The easiest is the fossil oyster which can be quite large. But the others I'm unsure of, possible sponge ,coral piece's and a brachiopod? Many thanks Rob

Hello, This is a fossil from the Devonian Mahantango formation in PA. Looks like some bryozoan but the pattern seems too fine for a Fenestella. The dimensions of the fossil (not the rock sample) are 60x30mm. I looked around at a few books and fossil ID guides but did not find any direct comparable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hello dear fellow forum members, I just aquired a nice little hashplate (if I can call it that?) from Portugal. The information given is the following: Ralfina lusitanica and Helopora sp., upper Ordivician (hírnantian fauna) Queixoperra Member of Cabeço do Peão Formation, Amendoa-Maçao Portugal. What caught my eye is the rib-like structure on the right/ top right. I am not saying these are ribs, just describing the shape. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Thanks and Aloha, J
