Today I went to a nearby creek in north Florida and came across these fossils that I need help identifying. 1. Definitely posterior. Maybe bull, lemon, or hammerhead? 2. I don't know if I've seen this before, at first I thought small hastalis, but then I noticed what appears to be a cusp on the left side. (it's just on the tape measure so you can see the cusp better.)3. Turtle, but I was wondering with the odd shape if it was possible to tell where from.Thanks!

Hey all, My wife was given this skull and was wondering if anyone can identify the type of animal it came from. We don't know the locality. She'd also like to know anything about the ornamentation glued to the top of it.

Howdy! I recently went to Post Oak creek, and ended up with more matrix than I can immediately use. Rather than let it sit unsearched, I figured it was worth a shot to post some up for trade here. Each bag has a pound of material in it, and they have proved to be very productive. I’ve found numerous ptychodus teeth, a (poorly preserved) lobster carapace, shark and fish vertebra, various bones, coprolites, and of course, lots of other shark teeth. So there’s lots of different things that can be found. I’ve got around 25-30 lbs I’d be willing to trade. I am primarily interested in vertebrate material, but I’ll also look at ammonites, and really anything else since I’ve finally gotten back into collecting again.

Please help ID any of these sharks teeth that were collected from the west coast of Florida (near Venice) this past weekend. Based on my research, the top two rows look like Sand Tiger and the bottom two look like Lemon. Would this be correct or are there any that look out of sorts?

Please help me ID these shark teeth that were found on the west coast of Florida (near Venice) over the past weekend. My belief is that the top row could be Great White and/or Megalodon (very nice serration on the largest/first one), the second row is either Bull or Dusky, and the third row is Hemipristis (Snaggletooth). As for the fourth row... the jury is still out. I am most intrigued by the third/tiny one (from left to right). It looks different from anything else I have ever found. Very compact, lots of detail, and oddly shaped. Any ideas???

Friend of mine gifted me some shark teeth. He's not a fossil hunter, nor that much into fossils; they were given to him. I know they're from the United States, but beyond that I don't have a locality. This one is 3/4". My first instinct here is to say Lemon, but the base of the blade along the root is serrated. Bronze Whaler?

Hi everyone, Requesting one more ID tonight. I received a bunch of bone valley teeth (mostly Megs), but a few others sprinkled in. This beautiful speckled one is stumping me. It is not a hemp and not a lemon as can be seen in the photos. It is just over 3/4”. Do you think it is a bull shark?
