I have several fossils like the one shown here. My collection is approx 300-350 years old, Cahaba River Valley, central Alabama, carboniferous. The size is about the same as a shoe sole. Any idea what it is? Leave comment if more info is needed.

Sorry I didn't put something in for reference, but the large imprint is approx one foot long. I did not collect this piece, just took a photo. The smaller one is approx 6 inches long. There's an impression and a small hole as well. Strange to me.

Can you help me identify this? Found near Cahaba River, looks like modern cane or bamboo, but don't believe that they are bamboos. Any idea of age, period? Have not found animal fossils anywhere near this spot. Thanks in advance.
