Can someone tell me what exactly this one is? Found in Northwest Missouri Grand River. It's approx 1.75" x 1.5". I find alot of brachiopod fossils but this one doesn't match the markings of one, looks more like a clam or seashell. I would appreciate your thoughts!

Hi, These were long lost fossils that I happened upon the other day. I collected them in 1981 somewhere north of Atlanta in Georgia. At the time, I thought they might be Trilobites from the Cambrian, but now am now I have no idea what they are or even if they are from the Cambrian. Sorry, I can't give a more definitive location, formation or time period. The rock is very soft, almost chalk-like. As I recall, they were in talus from outside a quarry. Any I.D. will be gratefully appreciated.

Hello all! I bought this bug like 20 years ago. If I remember correct, the vendor said it comes from Russia, Ural mountain range. Through a research, I found that there are a couple of paleozoic outrcrops in the area. I also checked trilobite species and looks like this one belongs to Redlichiida or Corynexochida order. These two orders have similar cephalon stracture (Cephalic doublure). The pygdium looks significant thinner than the rest of the body. I think I can count 10 ribs on the main body. Its total size is almost 5cm and the matrix is 7X5.5cm. I have increased the contrast using photoshop so as more details can be seen. Hope someone can tell me more!

Okay on my recent and probably last visit to Waynesboro, I found two more possible fossils. The first one I believe to be a burrow just like the last one. The second I think is either the same or just a sediment filled crack, as it seems another younger deposit is over it (it looks like a river from the conglomerate which has pebbles of this maroon shale in it). I think it's waynesboro formation chewsville member, Cambrian in age. The site is pretty unfossiliferous. If anyone wants to check it's by the McDonald's.
