The last (for now) addition to my fossil collection consists of three amber pieces from Baltic and East Europe. They're dated to Eocene.

This concretion opened today. I cannot decide if it a poorly preserved syncarid or more hopefully a partial centipede (Mazoscolopendra?). Any thoughts? @RCFossils @Nimravis @flipper559 @bigred97

Hello, I am brand new to the forum - I hunt for fossils often, but I am completely stumped here! I found this a few years ago in Slade, KY - inside of the Red River Gorge - in the Red River. I think it looks like a giant centipede, with some sort of antennae at the top, but one experienced fossil friend thinks it might be a cycad cross section. I see legs, a critter.. but he sees a plant. Hopefully one of you experts here can solve this mystery!

I'm just not sure what this is.I have a friend that said its a crinoid stem .. but this doesn't look anything at all like a stem that I can see about it. Can someone id this please? I see what appears to be legs on this on both sides. I've found stems before but I've not ever seen this if it is a crinoid stem... ¿¿¿
