Can someone please help me identify this? I found it at our camp site on the Chattahoochee river in Chattahoochee County Georgia. I’ve been researching and it seems to be very similar to some of the pictures of fossilized skin….. Any ideas would much be appreciated. Thanks so much!

I am trying to figure out if these things could be from the dinosaur period. There is a lot of petrified wood in this area. We take a boat to get to it and the bank is about 25 feet high from all the flooding. I am so interested in fossils, I just have a lot to learn. Thanks for your help.

I found these in a washout in a tree trunk on the Chattahoochee River in Georgia. I'm just curious if it's bones of some kind.

I don't know much about fossils, but I collect rocks and gemstones. Well, long story short, I found this and thought it was petrified wood. It has the nostril sockets and teeth holes. Can someone please tell me if this is a snake upper part of the skull or am I just seeing things. Thanks
