Hey y’all, need some help again, got at least one claw here but not sure about the second one. The smaller one is some sort of theropod claw but not sure from what, and the top one I’m not entirely sure is a claw at all but figured I’d get it checked out. Both are dinosaur park fm. Any help is appreciated.

A friend has just shown me these and wanted to know if i could help on an id but i was stuck so have to ask you guys and girls. They were said to be found in marine deposits where sharks teeth are found but this is not 100% confirmed. he just tinks they are some kind of mammal claw but something does not look quite right has anyone else got any ideas ? there are 2 , photos are not great but hope you can help. Looking at the photos again they look a little like crab claw pincers but they are far bigger than any of the crabs found in the area....

Good day and thank you for reading! I bought a 7-inch Spinosaurus claw in an auction and was hoping to get a second opinion on the condition and authenticity. I can send it back within a month for a full refund. I am also hoping for some pointers in knowing if is repaired or a composite. I have read many of the forums on here, but I have more questions. The length is 7 inches, but I do not have a ruler at the moment. This fossil is supposedly from the Kem Kem beds in Morocco. Any help is appreciated! Btw I do not have many fossils and plan to display this one to the public at my work if I keep it. Reasons why I do not think it is a composite or a carving: The texture and colors match on both ends of claw. They are also appropriate for fossils from Morocco. The shape and feel are good. Blood grooves follow the correct path. Reasons why I question if it is repaired or a composite: The darker brown areas do have a smoother texture and the grain is not visible in the very dark areas. How can you tell if this is substrate or cement/glue? If it is cement or glue, this piece could have been broken in half at some point, since the darker material has a concentration at the center and the tip. The blood grooves are not the exact same size on either side, though they are close. One side is wider. The darker areas do cause some "muddiness" but I cannot tell if it substrate. It is a bit lighter than I expected, but feels solid and has a similar feel and sound to other fossils when I tap it. This 2" claw arrived in the mail broken, unfortunately. The seller has offered to either refund me in full or give me a discount if I decide to repair it myself. In this case, what's my best option here? Regarding repair, is there a certain type of paleobond that would work best? I'm worried about the interior because it's basically that Moroccan sandy stuff and it's very unstable. I do currently have PB750 on hand.

Any thoughts appreciated. Can't find anything that looks like this found in Big Brook NJ. End seems too round to be in pincher? I know this is a stretch prob but the only thing I found remotely like it online was a pic of a baby Mosasaur jaw fragment. Thanks!!

Sifting Big Brook today and this came up from a deep dig. It has the look of a Lobster claw or Shrimp claw, which are usually only half inch in length or so. This specimen is roughly 3 inches long and about 1-3/4 in diameter at thickest and 1-inch at thinnest point. Its actually pretty heavy. There's noticeable ridges on each side near the edge and looks like little nubs almost like on lobster claws. Cretaceous era fossils normally in the stream. What could it be?

online seller seems to have several of these claws. I was under the impression that they're pretty rare, so I'm thinking something is up. I understand that online is first red flag, but wanted to get your assessment anyway. Here is one of them. Thanks in advance.

Actually found this inside a bag of potting soil that was manufactured in Godley,Tx. Not sure if it is a fossil, tooth,claw or something else. Maybe you experts can help me out. Thanks in advance.

Velociraptor phalanges and claw

Hi all, Long-time lurker and first time poster - I hope I can run this fossil by everyone. The item is advertised as Velociraptor claw and digit bones from the Gobi Desert, Mongolia, without a formation named. I'm not sure if the components were found together, but given the different colouration/texture I assume not. Attached is the only photo of it. It seems big for Velociraptor at 6", and the blood groove looks unusually well defined. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone! I'm fairly certain there's no funny business on this one, but I don't know what type of critter it could be since I'm fairly certain 99.9% of Moroccan claw pics online are of fakes and the remaining 1% are misidentified. 37.5 mm long 12 mm tall 8 mm wide What do you all think? Dinosaur? Croc? Turtle? Pterosaur? Any feedback is greatly appreciated as always!

Hello again. Found in the Peace River. My uneducated guesses......armadillo claw, extremely well worn large shark tooth. Notice that it bends in two planes. Does this rule out the claw ID? As always, thank you in advance for any help. Tom

Okay so just in the short amount of time since I’ve signed up I’ve already learned a lot. Especially how many fabrications come out of Morocco. I had no idea until I did a little bit of digging. With that being said, what’s your opinions on this spinosaur claw? Real? Fake? I think it’s definitely made up from real bone as there is sheen coming off of it. Hello - can anyone help me identify what either of these are? Found them on manasota beach in Florida - I have them marked by numbers 1 and 2 - number 1 appears to be some type of claw/nail and number 2 I’m not sure of either - might be a tooth?

From the Yixian Formation. Does it look Tyrannosaur or raptor? There are two Tyrannosaurs from there I see--Dilong and YuTyrannus, so if Tyrannosaur, I can't see how the species can be determined? If Tyrannosaur, would undetermined Tyrannosaur be more accurate? And with its small size, is it likely Dilong instead? Thanks

I just posted some colorful small shark teeth I found yesterday, but also went out Saturday. I had a number of finds which were small and I was not certain of their identification... 1) An Epiphysis, which I think is a long bone "cap" for a juvenile mammal. Which bone? 2.) A possible claw... Could this be bear ? 3) Looks like a Carpal or Tarsal, but not one that I have seen. VERY light in weight. 4) An odd Alligator or Crocodile Osteoderm. On the left of the 2nd photo, there is a flat section on the left edge, and then the increased slope to the center. possibly imagination, but it seems different from the average gator osteoderm. 5) Finally , a very small fossil and definitely unknown to me Any comments and suggestions greatly appreciated...
