  1. Therapod claw from UK

I recently saw this claw labelled as therapod 4.9cm and Jurassic. From saltwick bay, Whitby, UK. Does anyone know what it could be or if it could just be an interestingly shaped rock?
  2. Does anyone know a good website or auction site where I can get a nice rare therapod claw? Also, how does this albertonykus borealis claw look? I heard the alvelarazsaurids are very rare. It is described as this
  3. How does this therapod claw look?

I saw this therapod claw for sale from the Tegana formation, Morocco. Does any one know what it could be and if it could be a juvenile?
  4. Therapod claw from Faoux, France

Recently I saw this therapod claw for sale from Faoux, France. It is described as early Cretaceous and 0.2 inches. Does anyone know what it could be? Also, the strange red stuff inside looks a bit suspicious.
  5. A while back, a friend told me that therapod claws get rarer after the size passes under a certain limitation. Is this true or only for certain species?
  6. A claw from Hell Creek

I bought this claw a little while ago, for close to nothing. Still waiting for the item to arrive. Not sure what it is from though. It was dug up in Hell Creek. The claw and bone measure about an inch in length in total. Anyone who would have a qualified guess?
  7. I found this lovely velociraptorine claw while searching my Wealden bone bed collection. I enjoyed taking these photos, they are some of the most striking images I have taken of a fossil I think.
  8. What does everyone think of this tarbosaurus bataar toe I saw for sale?
  9. Any ideas of what this is

Anyone have any insight to whether this may be a fossilized claw of some sort or just a peculiar shaped piece of limestone. I found this in central Texas outside of Bandera. Thanks in advance for any help.
  10. Found a very interesting item online. But because of the price-class of it, and because I think the connecting part of the claw looks strange for a theropod handclaw, I thought I'd post it here. What is your opinions? Is this a "Spinosaurus Hand-Claw"? I think it looks real enough, but I just haven't seen any theropod hand-claw without a broad connective-end like this one.
  11. Hi all I came across this for sale on the favourite auction site. It is listed as a claw from the UK but to me it looks like a standard rock in a slight shape resemblance. Im not planning on buying but keen to know others opinions and it hopefully will stop someone making a costly error
  12. Hi, I have what is described to me as a turtle claw from the Moroccan Phosphates. That's all the info I was given unfortunately. It has a curve as seen from the top view. It measures 44mm long. First up, is this a turtle claw? Second, is it possible to ID its family or species? Third, what could the age be? I am guessing 70.6 - 55 million years old. Fourth, can I narrow down the locality? Thank you for your help.
  13. Does anyone know where I can find a therapod hand claw or a raptor killer foot claw for sale?
  14. Saw this online, it looks suspicious (but i am no expert) and i thought i would post here for confirmation. It is over 6 and a half inches long.
  15. Hello everyone. I saw this fossil on an auction site and labeled as a velociraptor claw from Argentina but I heard that velociraptor is incredibly rare. Does anyone have any opinions on this and is it a real velociraptor claw or some other dromeosaurid? In my opinion it looks more like a tooth. Thanks.
  16. Possible Bear Claw?

Need help identifying this claw. Found in Dallas. There is clearly a hollowed out indention on one side that does not go through (lighter area due to cleaning to see if hole went through) and a notch-like indention on the other. The top edge of the claw appears to have been chiseled, as there are distinct chisel marks that go around the entire top of the claw Could this claw have been made into ancient jewelry or tool artifact?
  17. Unknown theropod claw

Hi everyone, This is a claw from Hell Creek Montana. Can someone give me a better ID of what it is exactly? Thanks!
  18. A few more pics from last weekend

  20. is this a fossil?

I found this rock at an estate sale and am curious if it is a fossil. It is certainly the most unusual rock that I have found. I would appreciate any help someone wants to offer. Thank you! Dean
  21. Tooth or claw or cool rock

I found this in northeastern Mexico about 5 hours south of the border. It’s a bit more than 3 inches long, rounded on one side and bladed on the other like a saber. Please help ID. Thanks!
  22. Object found on Key West beach

I found this on a beach in Key West. It doesn’t look or feel man made to me. Can anyone identify what it might be, or what it might have belonged to?
  23. Dinosaur claw id?

Hi, hopefully the pictures are showing. Saw this rough looking claw for sale and wondering if it can be identified (from the Kem Kem). I am thinking the look of this claw corresponds to a Spinosaurid or an Abelisaurid claw, any thoughts about it? Thanks.
  24. Theropod claw ?

Would this be a theropod claw?
  25. Hell Creek Claw ID

Hi Everyone, I'm after a second opinion on this claw I found in the Hell Creek, Montana this summer. It's 1.83" in length and has cleaned up nicely. My guess is that it's from a large reptile like a crocodile or turtle. Gut feel says croc like Borealosuchus. Any thoughts?
