I thought I saw one of these yesterday when I posted a different request...but, perhaps not. I was given a two boxes of rocks...this one came from Cole Hill Rd., in Central NY, and I imagine it's probably middle Devonian. The animal is located on a Horn Coral. This rock is very different from what I'm used to...so, I stopped working on it after I came across this little creature (approx. 3/16" from one tip of an "arm" to the opposite side, and stands approx. 3/32" high). In reality it looks like a very tiny Octopus. The microscope tends to make everything look flat.
Thanks in advance for looking
Greg
