Hello all I haven't posted in a while. I haven't really been able to get out much for a while, but recently I did find a few (i believe) Composita lying on top the ground just off the road near Albuquerque. Some were complete and some eroded. They seem to be filled with crystals. One in the matrix. I also wanted to show you guys this other fossil in a matrix. A friend was showing me some rocks around her yard when she show me this one. At first I thought it was just a rock with some white inclusions. She liked the rock, but did not know there was a fossil in it.! We were pleasantly surprised.

I found this strange Composita subtilita at the Paleo Site bear Kohls Ranch, Arizona. It is from the Middle Pennsylvanian Naco Formation. Does anyone know what’s going on with the strange pattern? Flip side I also should be able to provide slightly higher quality photos if needed, I just reduced the quality to be able to post several PS-I wasn’t sure if I should post this here since I have an ID, so please move it if it shouldn’t be

Hi all, I just need help on confirming this specimen. I think it is a composita (brachiopod) rather than a schizodus (bivalve). There is a depression on the shell's surface going down the middle, but it is hard to see. Thanks again! This was found in NE Kansas.
