Hello! I bought fossil Miocene cone from Poland. Could you tell me if it is real fossil or fake? Kind regards, Paweł -
Found this Lacoea today-second photo. The first photo is a piece that popped out of another specimen, and I think it is Lacoea also?

Found this fossil and sent it to a paleoethnobotanist who was able to pull a pollen spore and identify the species.

I found this with the leaves at my favorite site. I believe it is Fort Union shale and is in central Montana. What do you think? Leaf? Cone? Snail? Notice the partial leaf with it. Thanks

Found in southern NV today. Appears to have radial symmetry but doesn't look like any crinoids I've found. Ideas?

I am visiting my parents on the gulf coast & decided to go to the beach to find some shark teeth. The nearby beach is famous for shark teeth, Manisota Beach, & we found over 100 in just a couple hours. However we also found the below tooth & I was wondering what it is from. It is over 1/2" long & about 3/8" in diameter. Any ideas what this could be?
