I started spending a bit of time searching matrix this month. It's been a while, and I have found it to be as relaxing and rewarding as I remembered. I made a few pictures just for fun and I included a shark tooth for ID if possible. There have been a few of these odd ball shark teeth in the wonderful Cookie Cutter matrix. If anyone could tell me the position and or possible species of this tiny shark tooth, I would appreciate it.

I was sorting thru prior finds from Cookie Cutter creek when I came across this tiny osteoderm that I must not have identified at the time. Am I wrong, or is this the most minuscule Armadillo osteoderm ever?! What else could it be? Can it be ID'd to species? It really is only 2 1/2mm.

I think I have found my first cookie cutter tooth and a basking shark gill raker. If I am correct these will be my first of each one from the Lee Creek spoils. Thanks for looking! And as always if I am incorrect please feel free to set me straight. Regards, John
