Been finding a lot of these in the mahantango formation, but have been unsure of what they may be. Alongside these (what my untrained eye sees as) Spores, I have found many “V” shaped branches, with the little knowledge I have, my first thought is Cooksonia.. Hoping someone with more knowledge can provide a definitive answer! There are three examples within this one rock and I have many stems in other rock!

Help me identify this early devonian fossil. I think it may be a cooksonia.

Okay so I found this interesting specimen in Ithica New York. The formation was early devonian. Is this a cooksonia fossil? On the other side of this rock you can see another fossilzed plant as seen on the front but much smaller and less complete. Below the penny is the most complete out of the three. To the right of the penny you can see a little bit of another. Thank you for taking time reading this. (If it does turn out to be a cooksonia its sadly missing the sprouts) -
Tentatively putting feelers out there for the possibility of trading for a Cooksonia plant fossil and/or rhynie chert plant fossil material. I may be up for considering other plant material, but those are the main two I'm after. I have a little bit of everything except for invertebrates or dinosaur material (though I do have a little bit of fossil plant material from the Jurassic), so feel free to shoot me a pm and we can discuss things further. Thanks!
