Found this fossil in a creek during my last trip my guess is that its a whale tooth or some kind of tooth. But I was wondering if anyone knows what it is? Along with possibly how old it could be? I found it on a creek near the peace river.

I am going to try and saw a piece of it off to get a better idea of its structure and content. But I thought it would be best to ask professional fossil forum experts first ty for your time

My family and I have spent decades hunting arrowheads in this creek and up until 3 weeks ago we'd never found anything like this. In late May/ early June we had several severe storms in the area then suddenly began finding fossilized shark teeth, claws, and this mysterious fellow. My sister found a larger similar piece that was identified as a tooth plate but mine is much more bulbous. The area is in the southern part of Wilcox County Alabama. Any help ID'ing would be much appreciated!

Can anyone ID this tooth? It was found on a creek bed which had tumbled onto a formation of blue-clay. I had to remove a small portion of one end to verify its content. It was found in SW, MS on 04-08-23. Other findings include unknown type of rib bones, horse teeth, tapir teeth, and cow skull (questionable).

I'm currently in a dried out creek in Floyd County Kentucky and have found this--thing. It's about 4.5 cm wide and 5 cm long. It kinda looks like something, part of a fish or leaf maybe. The area is mostly carboniferous. I'm just wondering if this is anything I should bother with as the rock it's on is about 60 pounds.

Earlier this evening while looking for Agates in a creek in southeastern St. Louis county MN, U.S., I found this VERY large tooth. It is fossilized, and appears to be a molar. Looking at the original range of the Bison, this area is the EAST central range. I know Agates, but not fossil teeth. I'm hoping for a more accurate evaluation of Bison or cow. Pictures show length to be approximately 2and3/4", or 70mm. with some macro pics. Has an unusual little stem in the dead center of the root of the tooth. We had 5" rainstorm about a month and a half ago, so this tooth was buried DEEP before I found it. I haven't washed, cleaned,or done anything else to the tooth except put it in my pocket. Included is a pic of the LSA I found roughly 18" away from the tooth. If I hadn't squatted down to pick up the tooth, and looked around I would not have found the agate. I am very interested to know what kind of animal tooth this is. Thank you for your time, and help anyone.

I've had this for a couple of years and never got around to figuring out what it is, has quartz druses all over and very heavy. Came from same creek I find most of my fossils in and no telling it's origination, have found everything from Cretaceous to Permian, and recent deposits.

This is one of the teeth that I found recently in a creek bed in Summerville. It was not in a geological formation but The Chandler Bridge Formation is very close. My limited knowledge leads me to think this is a squalodon tooth. Any one have any thoughts? Thanks for your help in identifying this tooth.

Any ideas on what this is? It was whole but cracked, all I had to do was to pick it up of the rock it was sitting on. Unfortunately, I either missed a section or dropped it.

Found these jaws today in a creek in Kansas. Found around bison and elk parts. I'm guessing and hoping bear, but could be more recent. What do the mammal experts on here think?

Would greatly appreciate any help in identifying the approximate age of this horse tooth. It was found on Coleto Creek in Goliad County Texas. In the Coastal Bend of Texas. Was just laying in an area where there is not normally water except when the creek floods. Also was hoping to find the scientific name of the horse. Thanks for any help someone could provide !
