Juvenile Megalodon, Crocodile toe bone, and tons of teeth!

Hey Everyone! This is the 3rd and final video we did with our buddy Bob from Canada. We hunted sharks teeth for 2 days and this was definitely the more productive of the two! We found a beautiful little juvenile Meg, a huge crocodile toe bone, and a bunch of beautiful teeth and other fossils. It was a great time and we can't wait for Bob to make it back down south! -

Recently you could find "many" bones and teeth in a "Bonebed" in a quarry near Buttenheim in Germany. Too bad I was a bit too late to search in this Bonebed. As I was there it was still possible to find something but the layer was buried under about 1 meter dirt. So I couldn't really find something there. All bones and teeth come from the Toarcian. This thread of @Kasia inspired me to buy some teeth and bones from there too. So thank you for the inspiration Here are my acquirements: I bought three Steneosaurus (crocodile) teeth: The first one is about 1. 3 cm long: Detailed: The next one is a big one with a length of 2 cm. This one was found in Altdorf: The last one is damaged and small (0.8 cm long) Beside of these Croc teeth I also bought some Ichthyosaur material from there: A 1.1 cm long tooth which could be quite nice if someone didn't glued it that bad... I am not sure what I will do with this one because there seems to be another tooth in the matrix and I will maybe try to break it and glue it a bit better. Too bad the teeth are extremely fragile so I am not sure what I will do... And another small Ichthyosaur tooth with a length of 0.6 cm: And last but not least three small Ichthyosaur vertebrae: All three are a bit bigger than 2 cm. All in all I have to say that I am quite satisfied with my purchase expecially because I didn't had to pay too much money for them. Thanks for viewing

Hi everyone, I was given this fragment of a bone by my friend which he got from Morocco. He was told that it is part of a skull from spinosaurus but I am sceptical about it. I don't have any experience in identifying fossils but done some research on the net and it looks to me like a part of a skull from crocodile. Like I said I am a newbie so it might be something completely different. Can anyone help me, is it even possible from these photos?

This supposed real Cretaceous croc from Khourigba, Morocco is up for auction and, uh, isn't this just a painted cast with some real croc teeth thrown in?

I stumbled upon this neat crocodile tooth from the Kem Kem Beds, and I was wondering if there's any possibility of labeling it beyond crocodyliform? Any help would be appreciated!

So I found this item online. And I've been looking for a jaw piece from a Spinosaurus for a while, and then tripped over this. However... I'm a bit in doubt with this one. Is this possibly a crocodile fossil? The teeth seem to be "long enough" to me, for it to be a spinosaurid, and the picture showing the roots from below seems to be not "completely conical" like most crocs. But then again I could be wrong, the teeth and jaw-pieces of kem kem crocs and spinosaurs do look very much alike, if only seen from "small" fragments like this one. So I find it a bit hard to determine on my own. What do you think?

Hello I need your help again. I am thinking since few days if i should buy this " raptor" claw. But i am Not sure if its a raptor claw. The mesure is 1.9 mm And its from the Kem Kem beds, morocco. So what you think about that?

I bought this bone in a German store a while ago. It is an "unidentified" bone from the Kem Kem Beds in Morocco. I am not exactly sure what it is, or what it's from, but to me it looks a bit like a small skull element or perhaps a broken-off part of a vertebrate? Are there anyone who can tell what kind of bone this is? It's about 5,5 cm in length.

I found this piece on my first ever trip to New Jersey and knew it was something, but was unable to identify it due to my inexperience at the time. 6 years have passed since then and I now recognize the pattern on the specimen to resemble a crocodile scute, if this is accurate I believe it would be my first crocodile specimen from the state. What do you think? It's about 2/3" long.

It is from the Khouribgha area. I am not a crocodile specialist, I think it is a Dyrosaurid but maybe someone can be more precise (family) ?. There is a bone on top of it that is is not part of the jaw but I kept it because I think it makes the piece more interesting. Can anybody tell what kind of bone that could be? The first picture is when I just started preparation. The rest when finsihed.

I was given this by my father as a gift. All he knows, is is it is from the Kem Kem Beds. It looks like it may be a jaw bone on some kind as it has indentations for what looks like teeth? But I can't decide on if it's from a fish, turtle, crocodile, dinosaur or reptile or if it's just a fragmentary piece of bone. I would appreciate it if anyone can shed any light on this! Huge thanks in advance .

Is this a fake Moroccan crocodile? Sorry for the bad pics it's at a fossil shop I can try and go back and get better once if people think they need ones that are better.

Forgive me, for I am new here. So I purchased these two teeth and a (ID’d as) crocodile claw segment at my local gem and mineral show for $10 each. These were identified by the director of my local geology museum as potentially being from the Lance Creek formation in Wyoming, but he said that I may need to wait for another paleontologist who works at Hell Creek to come back and take a closer look at the serrations. The second tooth, however, has the color for a Kem Kem specimen due to its reddish-brown color. The director was nice enough to take photos of them. I have more pictures of the teeth and claw segment that I’ll be uploading in the comments.

Is there any way to narrow this croc scute down to a species? Or at least narrow it down? also, what kind of shark is this tooth from? these are from the phosphate mines in Khouribga, Morocco.

Can anyone identify this for me? I would think it was a crocodile scute, except Ive never seen that shape before.
