Hi, I have found this rock at Baltic sea coast in Latvia and kept it as I've found it interesting.. Then, watching some fossil discovery videos, decided to ask people with experience.. ) I have basically no knowledge of the subject and I apologize for wasting your time if my find is just boring ) Any thoughts? Thank you!

Greetings! My name is Jake but I will just as well respond to any variation of my username. I am very glad to be here, I am very new to fossils/paleontology, though it has had my interest for years. Now that I have some more time, I have decided to finally feed my interest by joining this form! I am very much looking forward to learning. Have a great day.

I've had this since I was a kid. It was a gift from an elderly neighbor's rock collection. To me (a curious layman aka numbskull), it looks like a fossil. I'd appreciate any insight you can offer. It weighs 325 grams and is 79 x 62 x 70mm. Many thanks! Joe

Hi all! Dug around whiskey bridge yesterday and found what resembled a geode. The top part came off so I dug the rest out, any ideas?

I found this whilst fossil hunting on the beach in Redcar UK. The unusual pattern on one side made me suspect that this could be a fossil of some kind but any help to identify it would be appreciated. Thanks Michael
