Hi all, this rock has been in the yard since the 50's at grandmas house. It was originally found in the Grand Canyon around that time on a trip. I'm no archeologist so I'm here for expert opinions as this rock looks very different to me( egg like ). It's about 5x7" and weighs about 8lbs. I have held on to it over the years just because it looks so peculiar to me. Thanks for your time or sorry for wasting it.

Hey there I was prepping a plate of Baculites when I noticed what looking like a bone. At the time int was hidden under a crust of calcite. After removing the calcite I now need to gather ideas on what kind of bone this maybe. So, I am looking for some ID help.

Good morning from La Rioja, Spain. I have been doing a lot of digging in an old house in Cornago, La Rioja and found what I believe could be a Dino egg. The area is very well known for dinosaur fossils and remains. Could someone help me to determine if it is a stone or a Dino egg, please? Gracias!!!!

Hey guys, I´m from Germany and have bought this little tooth from the Hell Creek Formation in Montana. The seller described the tooth as "Dromaeosaur tooth", which belongs possible to Dakotaraptor or Acherorator. I´m not sure about the identification of this tooth and hope, that you can help me. The tooth is 1,27cm (= 1/2") in lenght. Thank you in advance and kind regards!

Hey guys, Hello I am from Germany. That's why I apologize for my bad English. This tooth (top right in the picture) I have recently screaked from the US. The tooth comes from the Hell Creek Formation (Wyoming). It was sold as a "Raptor" tooth. He is about 7mm (0,28") long. I´m not sure, to which dinosaur the tooth belongs, thats why I asked my question in this forum. I hope, that you can help me! Thank you in advance and kind regards!

Just starting to get into theropod teeth. Surprised this didn’t happen many many years ago as I was obsessed with Jurassic Park as a kid. After many a times searching on this amazing forum, stumbling across @Troodon‘s Jurassic threads and late night boredom searches through everyone’s favorite online auction site I decided it’s time to expand the collection. I’ve primarily been into shark teeth in my short time getting into fossils serious. I’ve had some stuff since I was a kid but a work trip to Charleston 2 years ago has led a new obsession that’s branching into others... Some spinosaurus indet that I got from the Tucson show a while back Carcharodontosaurus A raptor species of some sort Starting of with some Moroccoan stuff for now as it’s heavily available and not too harsh on the wallet. Really would like to get into some North American theropods but kinda clueless on where to start and where to purchase from. I don’t mind using online auction sites for the Moroccan stuff but I’m hesitant on the NA stuff in there. If you guys have any recommendations please PM me some recommendations. Thanks for looking and please feel free to share pictures of your collection with me.

Hello, I found this tooth being sold online and I was wondering whether it could be a Baryonyx. The seller doesn't know the locality or the species, to me it looks more crocodile like but I could be wrong. Regards, indominus rex

So, I have a curiosity. I have been, as you may already know, preparing a pair of Edmontosaurus ribs that I obtained, (original location presently unknown, but I can find out.) As I have been piecing the bits together, I have found that I have a third piece that I have reassembled that does not match either rib, nor does it match the material of either rib, but I have been assured they were found in association. It definitely seems like it could be another rib, but I'm not convinced it's from the same critter, or even type of critter. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hello, @Darko has been lately posting some Paleo art of prehistoric creatures that were absolutely stunning, so I felt like giving it a try. Today I drew a picture of what is to me one of the most interesting Raptors to ever exist. A species of raptor with the nickname "murder swan", was discovered in Mongolia. This raptor was one of the few semi aquatic theropods, it had the body of a raptor, the legs of a crane, the claws of a raptor and the head of a swan. This drawing is dedicated to @DatFossilBoy and @Darko. I hope you guys like it. Regards.

Ive had these forever. I may have gotten these from a little rockshop in Hanksville Utah about 26 years ago. Earnest Shirleys Rockshop. he's long gone now. Was a really nice old man. anyways, i am trying to get whatever info on these before I put them up for sale. One looks like some kind of toe bone, the others some kind of verts. May not even be from a dinosaur? Thanks RB

This pack of fossils is on a website which if you don’t know I’ll privately message it to you if you wish. While to me the website and the fossils look good, the fact that the fossils are I believe from Morocco and the fact that they are barely under $20. Makes me question if there’s a catch with these. Please tell me what you think.
