Quick trip report from a rather unsuccessful trip to bracklesham bay. On the lowest tide of the year I was hoping the formation would be exposed but over a metre of sand lay on top of it still. I think some onshore winds had been conspiring against me! However it was fun to hunt and I was rewarded with a beautiful sunset! 1. spot the fossil 2. sunsets 3. total finds 4. brachycarcharias lerichei 5. striatolamia macrota

Made a quick trip down to bracklesham bay last weekend, with a very low tide I was hoping the beds would be exposed but no such luck! it wasn’t great on the sharks teeth finds but a very rare fish tooth and bit of turtle shell made up for that (and the views were spectacular as usual)

Hi guys found this earlier today and it isn’t the usual striatolamia or other sand tiger teeth, it reminds me of physolageus segundus or maybe abdounia beaugei from the ypresian London clay , however I’m not sure if those species were around in the lutetian, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks also sorry for lack of scale I’m away from home and don’t have a ruler it’s about 3/4cm slang height
