New to the group, need your help. I found these items March 11th at Edisto Beach, South Carolina. I'm hoping my pictures are good enough to ID what I found. Each square on the grid is 5mm. Thanks in advance!

I found this on Edisto Beach, South Carolina near the point where the Edisto River flows into ST. Helena Sound. I am not even certain it is a fossil, but doing a GOOGLE Lens search, found similar images on this site. It is hard with a rough surface. There is a piece of a shell stuck in what seems like a midline on one side of it. Any clue would be appreciated.

A few weeks ago we went to Edisto Beach, S.C. to celebrate our 30th. wedding anniversary. The weather was fine, the water was warm and the tides were low. Seven days of fossil hunting and good times with my best friend! My husband Dennis even joined in the hunt and found several fine fossils. The majority of the fossils found on Edisto Beach are Late Pleistocene, ca. 50,000-10,000 old. They are from an undetermined offshore unit, Charleston County, S.C. We collected a broad range of species on this trip including many which were firsts for me. It is only
