  4. Aloha, I went to the museum yesterday. The Museum König is our big zoological Museum in Bonn, and at the moment it houses a special exhibition about Dinosaurs and the biology of gigantism. ("Groß, Größer, Dinosaurier") I got the friendly permission to upload the fotos as long as no people are in view. The Fotos I took may not be the best because I was busy entertaining a friends five year old then, but they may give you an impression of what to expect. I really liked the exhibits (real and replica) and will surely be back there to take more fotos and read the screens on a

    Need help

so i went to Orlando Science Center today for the Dino Digs exhibition but in Jurassic Ridge dig pit area i know that there is a Camptosaurus, Camarasaurus, Ceratosaurus and a Stegosaurus, but there is some species and genus of dinosaurs and other animals that i dont know what there like take for example the turtle shell, the alligator crocodile like animal fossil, the ankylosaur like fossil and that bone that i dont know what species does it belong to and that nest that i don't know which dinosaur does it belong to.
  6. Hi all! Last year we visited the spanish dinosaurs and other biota exhibition at the Museum of Science. All the fossils displayed where found in Valencia area (Spain) and belong to Late Jurassic and Cretaceous (mainly Barremian age). Spain has yielded a very large lower cretaceous dinosaur fauna very similar to those of the UK. Enjoy...
  7. Hey everyone Last week I went to a small mineral/fossil market/exhibition near Lille (northern France). The thing lasted the whole weekend (29th and 30th September) - I managed to get to it just a few hours before it closed. There wasn't much diversity in terms of fossils, but I did spot some rather neat stuff - including some cool vertebrate specimens Cephalic 'armour' of a small placoderm (don't really remember from where, tho... ) Well-preserved eurypterid from the Silurian of Ukraine
  8. Dear All, I would like to visit some Fossil shows/fairs together with my son in Europe. I’m from the Netherlands so unfortunately we have to cross the border for these. Through these shows I would like to get more knowledge on fossils and eventually buy some nice items. Any recommendations on which one(s) to visit? For example; Kölner Edelsteintage Cologne is upcoming in September. Any experiences on this show? Thank you, Marc
  9. There are many fossils to find out there in the big world we live in, and beyond. Finding some of them ourselves, we have probably amassed quite sizeable collections over the years. The question of the day; Which of your finds holds a special place in your heart? For me so far, that would be my Small but proud Aphelaspis Brachyphasis trilo. My first trilo, as well as my first find very close to where I live, This little guy is also probably the very best of the Conasauga trilos I have had the pleasure of collecting. Pics; Thumb comparison: Positive:
  10. I've seen a couple of mentions of the show on the forum but no one has provided a report on it before now. I attended both days. It had been a couple of years since I had been able to go to this show, having gone to maybe 3-4 of them in the past ten years - whenever I happened to be in the area on business. The show is hosted by the Tampa Bay Fossil Club and a number of club members work hard each time to set it up, run it smoothly, and take it down. Every time I have gone to that show, I have found interesting specimens and at least one book. This year, I bought a 4-tooth jaw section an
